Need the following spares for my ongoing restoration.Any help would be appreciated.
1.Seat assembly(Must be OE)
2.Main tube-1(Inner tube)
3.Front brake yoke
4.Front blinkers-2
5.Fork oil seal

you will get all these items from the dealer, check with old dealers

you will get all these items from the dealer, check with old dealers

I have already enquired with most dealers in my area Satish sir,have tried Prime motors,Kochi, SG motors,Kottayam,Remya agencies,kollam,PKG yamaha,Adoor etc..
The main tube is not available anywhere and so is the seat.They say there is a shortage in the supply of the specified spares for a while now.
I have found seat assy(Brand-Robin)..do you have any experience with them..should i go for non-OE spares?

Yes,they are easily available here Nishanth achacha..even the dealers say so.Seems critical spares like chasis,cylinder-piston kit,crank,fuel tank etc are readily available now and the minor ones,rare!!!

That's a good news, thanks for the update.
I was hunting around for the OE seats across GP road, but with least success.
Finally got it done from a seat maker and I'm pretty satisfied with the quality of his job. Hope this should last long.

Even my RX came with the same meters (rajdoot case and pricol dial). I have seen few dials with nippon-seiki japan written on it, may be those are imported ones. You get new meters as well with Yamaha case and pricol dial, You could go for a new one as the old ones rattle above a certain speed.

Brother's Rx 135 4speed piston's life ended. Bike started running sluggish and its piston started sounding a lot lately.
So took it to the mechanic today.Says the piston will get changed. And then opening the block came a surprise!!!. The engine was running on last piston oversize..
And a query...the piston available here are those of "Mahle"...and how much would a new block cost??

As Bibhu told new OE RX135 block costs near to 9K. You can buy a local Block(SAM). But dont buy Sam Piston. Get Mahle piston & rings. Total will come around 5K. My 135 has this setup and running fine from past 1.5 years.

Thax Sriram for the reply / advice , New oil pump Pricol make OEM yamaha cost Rs 1730/- is it a good investment, My plan is to purchase a new OIL pump & repair the old pump & keep it Stand by / additional spare .
Should i go for the OEM /YAMAHA packing 1730 rs or local market 1000 rs oil pump
Where in Thane can the spares for OIL PUMP be avalible , Planning to repair the old this sunday

Did you checked Suraj Motors in Thane? Its at Majiwada Jn. Just ask any shop right side of the road while going towards Ghodbunder road.
