Wine Red is pretty common and RX looks so appealing in this color (but looks are always subjective). If you prefer uniqueness go for Peacock blue.
My preference will be Wine Red.

Brother's Rx 135 4speed piston's life ended. Bike started running sluggish and its piston started sounding a lot lately.
So took it to the mechanic today.Says the piston will get changed. And then opening the block came a surprise!!!. The engine was running on last piston oversize..
And a query...the piston available here are those of "Mahle"...and how much would a new block cost??

New rxg block costs around 8,000rs. You can also try to get a good sleeve job, or buy a good used block to save some money.

Is it running on +2.0 size piston? How many miles does your beast covered? Seems to be a lot of running (or abusing?)

BTW brand new block cost around 8.6k and there is a local brand (sorry I forgot the name) costing around 5k in Chennai.
My mechanic fitted this block for one of his customer and it is running fine for past 1 year (covered around 7k km) I haven't seen / driven that particular vehicle.
Someone please throw some light on this 'local' block. How good is that?

Yaah probably would be going for a used one. The mechanic says he will try and source one.

Its a 1998 make. My bro bought it second hand for 11k about 4-5months ago.

I have used the local block for about 6k kms. The ports are misaligned and not properly finished. If corrected they should make good power.

Finding a new z tank is very difficult even for the best of them. Get your tank repaired, recoated and repainted. Then start looking for a new tank.
