Thats right. But the original one has a better liner, honing and chamfering compared to Indian bores.

Absolutely right Nitesh, I've seen EL-Crapo 3KA20 barrels with blow holes which will be fairly usable only after a rebore...

Not only this, the fake bores have completely mismatched liner and block ports which is one of the main reason of them not performing.

^^ The tank of the old Yamaha YBX looks similar to the Z tank. I thought it was the same, in fact both share the same tank cap!!

                  • Indian 2 strokes still in production ??

Few days back I saw an advertisement from LML about 2 stroke scooter.
I always had soft corner in my heart for 2 strokes , I was wondering how many 2 stroke 2 wheelers are still in production in India ?

If above ad. is true then I can think of

                    1. LML 2 stroke
                    2. TVS XL HD moped

Do you know any other in India.

The reason AFAIK is that there some court case in LML's case and now that they have won it or something like that ..there old 2 strokes which had already been produced
had to be sold off and along side they are manufacturing the 4 stroke version so that they can keep going on with the production...basically they are selling off the old produced scooters

My mechanic has given me a suggestion for RX K cylinder and piston ( 3KA20 YP-2)..

I need to know whether this is a good option or not?
