  • Re: Kawasaki kb100 RTZ rebuild

yet to get the speedo fixed. Meanwhile, got the FC done! The bike is now getting heads turned. The Men ogle at it while the women look confused, perhaps, posing themselves questions as to why their boyfriends, friends, brothers or husbands do not have a bike like this. Most of the Boys who have grown to Men in the last 20 years havent seen a contraption like this and so have to face a barrage of questions asking if the bike is new or is it imported or has it been modified! Anyways, have great times reliving the bike and the new experiences post refurbishing.

front visor preferably from rxz or shogun
rear gas shockabsorbers can be done using pulsar shocks
chamber scilencer can be done if you are willing to get your hands dirty
bigger rear rims with Moto -D tyre ..but will have to change swing arms then ..will rx's be suitable ?? bad idea.....you will ruin the dynamics of the ride ,your speed will go down so will your mileage

                    still confusedd....

pulsars are more or less the same length as the stock ones if you want smaller ones try the ones from 220 they are shorter than the 150 ones

you can go for fatter tyres on the stock swing arm , you will have to get rid of the chain cover, ,you cannot put rx swinger in kb , but i gotta warn you , after this mod ,aniya nee othiri karayum

the only way you can run a fatter rear tyre is by using smaller rims say 16" that will allow the 120 section enticer rear tyre to be fitted , now sit down and take the measurements and compare them to stock , it it doesnt suit try the one from the pulsar (classic or 150) it should in theory fit
