Hi guys,

I was in india for month until last week and my KB100 my main mode of transportation

and it still impresses me. Just that I wasn't pushing it too hard.

I have seen models like Kawasaki KC/KE/KH100 which are almost on the same lines of our KB. Anyone knows for sure if any of these models exactly matches our model? If yes, then maybe we can get some good spares/cables etc from say Malaysia/Indonesia etc.

If yes, then I can start thinking about getting my bike stripped completely, get it painted and chromed and make it like new

its gonna be a bit difficult as the indian vesion looks like a hybrid of different models in kh series but most of the bottom half of the kb is similar to that of the 86 model kh125 so we might be ab le to source a few parts

I guess i did not convey my point clearly enought. i meant to say that the after market cables look pretty much the same as the stock ones.

guyz i want to fit a k&n filter in my kb100 is it possible???if yes which one should i fit??

what problems....if you still wanna go then go for uni filters they are much better than k&n

finally bought the rear brake hub from classi pulsar the kb100s one was beyond repair also bought main bearings for the crankshaft

the hub costs about 1k approx which is quite steep

congratulations!!! at what rpm does your engine idle?

it idles at about 1300-1400 rpm

had the engine opened .....the innards were in a terrible state the brand new piston i put in a year ago is busted, burnt out bearings and compression leak left right and center .....i guess this is what happens when you give you give your bike to spanner weilding baboons claiming to be mechanics

my sympathies! are you now planning to get the engine repaired at an ASS? do let us know of the follies committed by your previous mechanic - will definitely help in my engine rebuild.

not by ass they havent got a clue about the kb ,im get it done elsewere under my own supervision ,first thing the former fellow had used anabond everywhere without mercy i had to spend considerable time scraping the thing out
