About 2.5yrs back I wanted the change the rotary disc and searched the whole of hyderabad and for some reason with 0% expectation reached a bajaj dealership - my previous experience at other dealerships was - oh the KB100 has been stopped long back and we dont have spares and the guys always got busy selling the pulsar spares.Originally posted by kb100 View Postalso if you come across any original rotary valve pick one for me also kicker pawl pin (very small in size) if you come across them , make sure its original
But that day I got lucky - they guy at the counter was probably in his 40s and asked me what I wanted, there were a couple of guy for pulsar spares, so I told him, I will wait let them finish first. There were no other customers and then I told him - Ok I am looking for some spares of the KB100. I was happy to see him smile while his young assistant asked - KB? and this guy said - O yes, it was a lovely bike from bajaj etc etc and he himself went and brought the spares. That day I picked 3 discs. 1 for my KB and another for a frnds and I still have one in spare.
Now I sometimes think, maybe that day I should have picked up all the spares that he had for the KB

I have made this mistake too. Lost many Yamaha old stock spares which included a huge cache of almost all the engine internals. So now whenever i come across any parts i take them without thinking if they will be of any use to me ever.1985 Yamaha RD350 HT

Hey man!Originally posted by kb100 View Postgood to know that
Was going through my KB's brochure and saw that the Kurb Weight is 97 kgs, and the when I saw your brochure it said 109 kgs....why is there a difference with the KB's weight? And in the older KB, the original it says 109 kgs...why is there this difference? Posted a pic from the first KB's brochure for clarity...True blue smoke makes the devil's blood run cold

havent done much recently , btw my old friend engine oil consumption is back, gotta change the oil seal.....again
did change the rhs crank case cover screws to tvs allen bolts, the little buggers are expensive compared to stock bolts , but they look goood and do not deform like normal screws or bolts
also changed the front wheel bearing (90/-x2),and got the front wheel straightened / aligned, also bought new cone set(ball race) tor the front tee stem(250/-), gotta change themKawasaki KB100/enduro/125 substitute parts list http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/508615-post105.html

I am really enjoying going thru the restoration threads....must say I have had the pleasure of ridding this bike and have to add that this had one of the best suspension and was a comfy bike for long distances. Congrats and enjoy. I would like to add that its wonderful to see fellow members advice and help for other members. Keep it up.RX 100
