@argee; she is a RUNNER ,and she is running on the old bore....the new bore kit that we had purchased was NOT used as one of the piston rings was broken ,it is this new piston that has a scratch in it.I HAVENT BOUGHT ANY NEW PISTON

Btw she got her fair share of attention at the test site

^^^ Pls read it once again & let me know if it doesn't confused you.

If you mean the loud horns, then 17 years back even they were considered illegal Surprised to see you were not made to run for a PUC certificate.

Ofcourse; if there're people who didn't know about the legendary KB, they would be interested to know the price & make. Some moderate knowledged ppl would wonder how come the registration number is already in place.

THE SCRATCHED PISTON IS THE ONE FROM THE BORE KIT sorry if i confused you

i had the puc taken on saturday and forwarded to the agent in charge
along with the necessary docments like rc, insurance etc

if the horns are illegal then i feel sorry for the guys running ffe"s , chambers , k&n's etc if they get caught they are in serious mess....the funny thing is 5 years before during the last test she passed with the same horns and single mirror

most people know about the kawasaki ,but none of them had seen one in this state...most were asking about the shiny bits, the cost involved and where we had got it done

argee what was the mfg date on the goetze piston rings that you bought for ur rx need to check it with the ones with me

Now clarified. Ideally it should be very smooth as powder with no visible marks. Recheck if its a scratch or simply some kind of mark.

Yes you're right; sometimes here in Chennai, (depending on the mood), cops break the FFE right in front of you & let you go!!!

May be you went through a good driving school or the RTO inspector had a good mood

See I told you ; till date I've met only 2-3 people in this country who didn't want to know the price, otherwise the first question is - "what is the price"

Will recheck tonight, but I faintly remember as Jun 09.

^^^ Well sorry that I couldn't check it last night; I'm 200% sure its not of 99 make. Goetze is under production now & is also very much available.

                        Hello bro,

Was away to chennai to confirm my seat at SRM. I'll check with my mech if mine is also goetze. Today was doin around 80+ with my friend back on the way to my friend's house in a village. Suddenly she coughed and stopped. Fortunately a mech was around and found the spark plug was totally gone. Guess it's life was over. Then luckily got a new one to replace. Way back I managed a 105 with my friend. My other friend's pulsar150 wasn't able to catch me until I touched 100.LOL!! Just felt like sharing......
And got the manual from my uncle. Yes you were right. It is the owner's manual and not a service manual. I asked my uncle and he said he had no such thing as a service manual.

                          Great Rebuild!

Hey I was going through your thread and I couldent help but put in a line to appreciate all the hard work you have put into getting your lady up to date.. i went to college on a KB 100 which was bought by my close fried in 1994 and we had many wonderful rides on her..2 years ago I helped a friend restore his KB, but just gave it over to a mech and got it done in 3 weeks time. It cost 17500/-
Great going and keep up the enthu!!

                                Hey bro,

What about the X-Stroke stickers on the front fork and power box stickers? And I noticed that the gearbox has the Kawasaki stickering instead of the Delta super tuned. Also did you put that Old bajaj symbol below the speedo box? Well.......I am just eager that your rebuild is perfect. I thought these points would add originality to the bike.
