  • Yaser sir you are cent per cent right most of these so called "famous" mechs are quacks if u have noticed they never work on the bike in the presence of the owner and if they cant fix it they blame it on the bike . It takes a lot of patience and care to work on a kb which these fellows lack

The Rotary Disc Valve spooks most of the mechs..when removing they take it off without noting the orientation, and when they put it back...99% out of 100 they get it wrong and don't know what to do...except blaming the bike for being old.

You are 110% correct on that one. Yes, the best way is to mark its orientation before removing so that you get it back on the right way.

The last time my bike was worked on, I took me two days to find the rotary disc and finally I found two of them in a shop and I got them both.

Yaser I had uploaded the KB 100 complete service manual and the Rotary disc valve orientation is clearly mentioned in it....hope it will be useful to you

                          • All the best KB100, my best wishes are with you for your rebuild. i had recently done up my KB125, although didn't do a lot of engine work (that i had got it done a year back). i have posted my experience in a separate thread 'Yet another KB125'. Sad to know that you had to undergo such traumatic experience. hang on buddy.

Welcome sixspeed ..do not have high hopes on the Endura,as it it is a fudged design.A Kb 125 is worth more than the Endura in terms of performance.
