      @KB100 - My eyes were about to shed tears; looks lovely, brings back my old memories from 90 & that was the first motorcycle I started & tried riding all alone. The soft comfy front suspension is what I can never forget; trust me, its way superb than RX. Very Lovely to watch KB100 in glory & Thanks for Sharing. Be proud of yourself man!!!

Please make a video after she is fully ready and post it here. I want to hear her singing. And I asked for the owner's pic....what happened??

              replaced the speedo console casing with a new one...it luooka ugly now...had the electrical issues sorted out,had to replace a few small components, she will be given for testing tomorrow
              stuff left to do ;
              stickering in the front forks and port side ccase
              locating a plug to seal the port(she is running at mixture screw half a turn open) on the right side ccase cover

              ps;there seems to be a long scratch on the piston skirt will it cause any problems

                I'm not sure what you mean by piston skirt; I assume it is the outside the piston that gets in contact with the cylinder. If that is the case, yes, you've every reason to worry about it. Do a compression test & check how much of compression is lost. If there isn't any, then you don't need to worry at all.

                    Scratch on the piston skirt should not pose any problem since that part of the piston is not concerned with combustion. Is the scratch close to the gudgeon pin ie. between the oil control ring and the gudgeon pin? or is it under the gudgeon pin?

                    And since no part of the piston is ever in contact with the cylinder bore, there is no chance of leakage i.e compression loss.
                    Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

                      the scratch is at the portion of the piston perpendicular to the gudgeon pin
                      thanks for the reply som88

                      the tacho packed up after the casing change

                      @jamesrocky:didnt notice at first ,are those nitrox shocks from pulsar ...how is she handling with those also the handle bar seems to be from pulsar

                        @KB100 - Do a compression test & that should tell you the results.

                            Well, I'm not asking you to do NOW; you can do it eventually when you get your work completed
                            PS - I'm under the impression that you've completed all your work with the motorcycle & it is in running stage isn't it?

                                I'm really confused whether the KB is in running or not running stage; Turn back 2 pages & I see

                                Are you saying that you bought new pistons & the new pistons has the scratch?
