It's very light weight as compared to my sol helmet which was 1.6kg without gopro.
This one is 1.3kg.
It does have wind noise but if you wear ear plugs you won't feel anything.
Unfortunately since getting this helmet i have not been able to go to any long rides to test the comfort of the helmet.

Hey guys. I've returned the Shiro Sh 890 due to high wind noise. Looking for a new helmet. My head shape is intermediate oval. What's do I go for? I don't need a dual visor. What I need is good wind protection, and I do wear ear plugs. Is smk stellar a good fit for my head shape? The brands don't mention the head shapes right?

i wanted the below helmet. I know the quality won't be as good as any branded helmet, but I have 3 helmets for that. I need one only for looks.

I wanted to know if there would be any custom issues if I import the helmet.
Wouldn't recommend this, looks have to the secondary to protection always. It's always better to go with recognised brands with a good reputation like MT, HJC, Steelbird etc.

The primary reason for wearing a helmet is the protection it offers. Don't get a lid that you can't rely upon in the event of a crash as one cannot predict such an event. Always be prepared for the worst with the best protection you can afford.

Besides, you can always upgrade your helmet's looks with decals, vinyls, stickers, led strips and what not.

Cheers and regards.
Safe riding!

You want to buy a helmet from a company whose country vetoed Azhar's black listing in UN as a terrorist? Further you want to buy a helmet manufactured in a country which continues to occupy Indian territories and supports indirectly and directly the terrorists operating in India from North East to J&K?

No it is not normal, fit might be the issue could be one size big, or the visro seems to be at fault.

Double D is really good. Let us know about the padding of the helmet and fitting. Also is the padding removable? I want to buy one soon and was planning to go this weekend and check one for myself.

ECE is good enough, do not fall for all that jazz of ECE and DOT (coz I have read much in detail about the same and its is ALMOST the same. It is just that when a brand wants to sell in the US market they have to get DOT certification and when they have to sell in the European market it needs to be ECE certified. I saw an Aria Helmet owned by my friend (Original) and it has only ECE.

I am considering SMK, MT and Zeus for now. Ls2 Helmets are really good too, but only if you know you are getting the real one coz a lot of fakes are doing the round.
I'm sorry I forgot about this. The helmet is two years old now. It has served me really well. It weighs 1650grams, which is heavy compared to other helmets. It was my first helmet so I didn't find it heavy, but I suppose if you use a lighter helmet and you switch to this you'll find it heavy. I've done long tours with it as well and the eight didn't bother me. Used it for 20k kms. Now the plastic vent in the front is loose. I've purchased a new helmet now, a Shiro SH890. This Zeus helmet I've sticker bombed it and I'll use it occasionally from now. My judgement after using it for 2 years and 20k kms is that I have no regrets spending 6k + on my first Helmet. I'm attaching a few pics of the same as 806 now.Click image for larger version

Try Orion Motors, Koramangala or Motor Armour, Whitefield. But since you know your helmet size, call before going. Else, JC road is the best place. I'm sure you'll find it there. Try Adeshwar in JC road.
