Ls2 is diffrent league , for studds i have 2 one is 4 year old amd one is 1 year old and padding is still good as new, for steel bird they have very thin pads which do not grip the face well and are mostly lose.

In comparison all the studds range above scorpion has better padding.

There'll always be a line between safety vs comfort :-). I don't think anyone (or maybe handful) will wear the safest helmet in the world if it's not comfortable. And the definition of comfortable also changes over time. What was considered as an add-on earlier, maybe a standard feature these days.

Pollution wouldn't have been such a problem back in 2008 but with the condition of most of the cities these days, riders would ride it. I don't leave home without my pollution mask!

I'm still not a fan of the Bluetooth devices as I think it can distract riders from the road and traffic, but to communicate as a group and not spend 15mins to remove and re-wear the helmet with all attachments is a pain. Even studds recently launched a helmet with a 3.5mm jack and speakers! Would have been unthinkable in 2008.

What do you think riders would discuss in 2029?

I've never encountered such an issue, but I would recommend using tape to seal off the Bluetooth cutout or use playdough to seal the small circular hole inside.

How old is your helmet? Get it replaced if possible because such a thing should not be happening in the first place.

    Cheers and regards.
    Safe riding!
