Its a nice lid man. Comfy and the removable padding is a real boon.
You oughta have got yourself a tinted visor. Adds 300 bucks to the price though.

Get the pesky MPA logo stickered with something. I pasted a sticker of Guido on it.

guys, the Studds Rhyno series helmets are a very good value for money. checked them out 3 times. at Rs 1700 you are getting something very reliable, good looking and comfortable... visors can be bought extra but only plain ones...

Hi Guys,
I want to purchase a good helmet from Bangalore, so i was following the thread from so many days. In the same context i went for Helmet hunt in the JC road, Bangalore, apart from Daijya and AGV(imported) helmet i did not find anything worth.
In this thread some people have posted that Daijya helmets are fake copy of Marushi and some other people have posted that Daijya is needed made by Marushi. To clear the confusion i have e-mailed to Marushi helmets ([email protected]).


Our lawyers are acting against that manufacturer in China and the distributor in India.

The English government has done a safety rating and the best helmets have 5-stars, Marushin is on of the brands who has 2 helmets
with 5 stars, only for information Shoei has not one !!

well I myself own a daijya and I have a confirmed reply from planetdsg as well that it is ECE certified.

try a daijya first, it feels far better than others in that price range. if you can splurge some more try to go for an KBC (from Kaulson Racing Products based in Bombay) or an AGV. that's about it.

btw the daijya is good, after several months of abuse the helmet still looks new (finish is great), even the visors can take a lot of abuse before going in for a new one

btw daijya is getting replaced by Marushin in this year. DSG had a clearance sale of daijya's going for about 3.5k. Since the email you have there says that "Indian distributor will be sued" it is baseless because DSG is the only dealer for daijya and they are going to stock marushin from now on (therefore the daijyas went up for sale). So Marushin is going to sue its future dealer ? very unlikely for setting up a new market here. lol

I gotta learn to remove the visor sometime soon. I tried to a couple of days back, but it wasn't as easy as id imagined it to be
Hence, stopped the experiment to avoid breaking a mount
If you know how to do so, please lemme know man

Yes! I was offered the Blue Iridium One, which looked so cool..

But, Clear Visor is indeed a must for those who travel after the dusk!

To Remove the Visor,

Lift the Shield to its upward position. Release the left side shield by applying pressure on the indented lever on the left side of the helmet.



Now., Gently lower the shield as far down as it will go. In this position the three anchoring notes on the right side of the shield should easily be dislodged from their respective slots and the shield should automatically come off..

By the looks of it, its made from carbon fibre.
If you didnt know, carbon fibre is used to make monocoque of racing cars (including formula 1 cars).
Now you know what tech is there in that helmet
