As for a jugad, you can take any visor and permanently fix it. (But this wouldn't be a good idea)

Re: Helmets
Changing the helmet would be a good idea. Since the company itself said so, then it would be nearly impossible to find its visor.Originally posted by rick_7428 View Post

Re: Helmets
Hi bro. Best shop in ghy is Honda Planet in A.T. Road where u'll get brands like LS2, Cross, KBC, (SOL, SparX- if ur lucky, i.e. they've stock). Else there is a gud shop in Rajgarh as well near China Town which stocks LS2.Originally posted by redknight1990 View PostCan anyone tell me some genuine helmets shops in Guwahati.
Else, if u want the normal Indian brands like Steelbird, Studds, then u'll get them in a lot of places like Ganeshguri, A.T. Road, etc

Re: Helmets
One of my close friend runs a store called Bikerz Pride in Rajgarh Road. We have discussed the possibilities before and he says slowly he'll stock most good brands. But the bread & butter according to him is still represented by the likes of Vega, Aaron etc. Now that's a shame.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostHi bro. How many helmets do you own already & how old? Make & model?Originally posted by krishnashk View PostHi guys planning to gift myself a new lid for my birthday.
Budget around 3k .
Any suggestions on brand and specific model ?
PS:I guess I would get ls2 with this budget and other brands that I should look for?
Up your budget a bit and go for MT-Axxis (I see MRP 3938/- on the carton); should cost less.

Re: Helmets
MT reviews have been good so far. Besides, in that price range the best ones are the commonest LS2, Cross and THH. I would strongly advise you to reconsider MT and SOL by slightly pushing the budget. After all, it isn't something that you'll keep changing everyday, or is it?Originally posted by krishnashk View PostI am using steedbird from 3 years(not sure of the model ). Re: Helmets
No THH please. Though the shell is hard it's too heavy. After sometime of continuous riding you will have neck pain. SOL is always the better option. My wife loves her SOL.Originally posted by chaosaddict View PostMT reviews have been good so far. Besides, in that price range the best ones are the commonest LS2, Cross and THH.
