Guys having a Studds Scorpion, can u please tell me how to remove it's visor out. I'm up with my helmet cleaning job and don't know how to take if off from the lid.

Locate this lock on both sides of helmet & pull it upwards, pic attached

Thank you so much. Silly me I didn't notice this lock before. I've managed to get the removable liner out of the lid easily and after the cleaning, I couldn't get it in like it was before. It's not fitting in perfectly. What is the proper way of fitting it back to the lid?

Hello guys,
I own a Vega Shadow Helmet bought 2years back . Now the thing is my visor is all messed up with scratches and its impossible to ride on with visor on ! I tried almost all authorized Vega and general dealers for new visor but all advised to get a new helmet as these helmet are not manufactured nor imported anymore ! I shooted a mail to vega India got the same response ... So can anyone of you guys can give me some idea/jugaad for this problem i am in... It would be a great if anyone could give their inputs .

Hello guys,

Changing the helmet would be a good idea. Since the company itself said so, then it would be nearly impossible to find its visor.

As for a jugad, you can take any visor and permanently fix it. (But this wouldn't be a good idea)

Hi bro. Best shop in ghy is Honda Planet in A.T. Road where u'll get brands like LS2, Cross, KBC, (SOL, SparX- if ur lucky, i.e. they've stock). Else there is a gud shop in Rajgarh as well near China Town which stocks LS2.

Else, if u want the normal Indian brands like Steelbird, Studds, then u'll get them in a lot of places like Ganeshguri, A.T. Road, etc

One of my close friend runs a store called Bikerz Pride in Rajgarh Road. We have discussed the possibilities before and he says slowly he'll stock most good brands. But the bread & butter according to him is still represented by the likes of Vega, Aaron etc. Now that's a shame.

Any suggestions on brand and specific model ?
PS:I guess I would get ls2 with this budget and other brands that I should look for?

How many helmets do you own already & how old? Make & model?

Up your budget a bit and go for MT-Axxis (I see MRP 3938/- on the carton); should cost less.

I am using steedbird from 3 years(not sure of the model ). Any other brand suggestions other than MT, want to know the available options .

MT reviews have been good so far. Besides, in that price range the best ones are the commonest LS2, Cross and THH. I would strongly advise you to reconsider MT and SOL by slightly pushing the budget. After all, it isn't something that you'll keep changing everyday, or is it?
