I'm looking to buy a chin curtain for my MT Limited Evo as it fell off somewhere on the road on the very first time I used the lid. Had mailed Spartanprogear.com about the issue and they agreed to provide me a new chin curtain, But they never did. Can I get the chin curtain alone on the market (assuming it is a helmet consumable) and how much will it cost me?

Not looking for Kranos or MT till I can get hold of LS2.
If not from Delhi, I'll try getting it from Mumbai.
Need a good helmet and LS2 is just superb! [emoji108]
And moreover let them say what they have genuine or first copy or whateve [emoji23]
I've used a genuine one, seen enough genuine & fake both. I'll spot it and then gonna rape the shopkeeper! [emoji51]First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

Re: Helmets
Mumbai dealer, Laxmi Automobiles was also in question when he could not answer some questions asked. Check the LS2 Genuine thread (google it). Read the whole thread before coming to any conclusion. I would suggest to stay away from LS2, its better to be safe than being sorry. Just an advice.Originally posted by Sird View PostNo.

Re: Helmets
That's irritating bro, between a big ride when such thing happens.Originally posted by raakeshchauhan View PostMy bad experience with LS2 Helmet's spares..
I've literally abused my LS2 in all these years.
From continuous heavy rains for 5-6 hours to burning heat and many accidents. Never failed to even once or for a moment. Once I broke the left side mechanism spare but that was my fault.
From side spares, lock, pads and every other thing is still going pretty strong.
The helmet sticks perfectly even now at 130-140kmph or even if sudden acceleration.
I'll just try my luck or have to go with HJC / Kranos.
I'm looking for some vibrant graphics along with safety this time.First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

That's really great.. Even I have started to like my LS2 after an year, but you know incidents like mine makes a dream roadtrip memorable forever..
If you keep aside the problem I described in the video, ATMOS is performing pretty well..Dream. Dare. Discover. - Travelogue of my solo bike trip to Badrinath & Mana

Re: Helmets
Recently purchased Studds shifter ....matt black! however the visor isnt that good
Since the visor is ejectable, are there other visor availaible for the helmet...tinted or mirror or anything!
also wanted a custom paint job for the helmet to catch some more attention
any one who has done any of this?

Matt black is very pron to catch scratch and oil spots. I have used reflective stickers to go with the colour tone. It looks great.Originally posted by Nikhil Nawandar View PostRecently purchased Studds shifter ....matt black! however the visor isnt that good

Re: Helmets
Guys, here's a couple of links to the studds shifter and scorpion models sold in u.s by daytona helmets. The helmet model, studds scorpion is sold as shadow on their sales catalogue. The same is corroborated by zouba.com in their export list.Vega also exports helmets to u.s ,that too to the same importer, which is daytona and of course axor is another importer of vega.
D.O.T. Shifter with Shield Dull Black | Full Face Motorcycle Helmet
D.O.T. Daytona Shadow | Dull Black Full Face Helmets
Here are a few links to the import into u.s info
So all in all,it does make us feel good about some of our favorite indian models.
Edited:
I found out studds helmet's european brand name, which i think is wholly owned by studds and SMK is their higher end helmet brand i think. They also sell lower priced models with their own studds brand name as well. Here's the link.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I used this helmet for 2 yrs and this helmet is of no use other than posing. It might be safe , but to be frank Studds/Steelbird full face helmets fit snug and are lot better than this.Originally posted by Arijit Dutta View PostProbably OT, but amidst all the high profile helmet gossip, I wanted to share a little mod I did with some 3M tape and my imagination for night safety and visibility.
P.S I guess Vega is good enough for less than 90 kmph?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
What i think is A good helmet means it should absorb shock efficienty when impact, no matter at what speed.
There should be less drag,
Offroad helmets look cool, but you feel like your head is about to chop in Highways,
I ve seen many Branded helmets which costs more than double of MT Blade, but scores only one Star in Sharp rating.
So dont go for brands do some search if possible compare, even check if has any sharp ratings. Always buy a helmelt which fits perfectly, it should touch yous cheeks n should not turn,
All the above always lock your helmet straps.
