Re: Helmets
They mention Snell and Ece certification apart from Dot and Isi. Can you confirm it?Originally posted by kunal2428 View PostUsing thh from past one year..

How is the padding? Is it washable?
What about wind noise and stability above 80kph?
Cheers and much thanks.[emoji111]And then the lord said "Let there be Bike": And there was bike

Re: Helmets
Cant say much about snell or ece.
But padding is nice and is easily detachable and easy to wash. Mine is holding wind noises quite well above 80kmph and is stable.
Using it for past 6000 kms including daily commutes , weekend highway rides and few long rides.

Re: Helmets
So mostly visual differences. Thanks for the insight.Originally posted by kunal2428 View PostMainly graphics... Also depends if helmet is matt finish or glossy.
Mine is a thh destroy model orange colour and it costed me around 3500 with silver finish visor
Pretty cool helmets and amazing value for money, that's for sure.
I would love to get one now.[emoji4]
Cheers and regards.

Re: Helmets
Well as the description in each locks at the Decathlon website itself states:Originally posted by motobiker View PostThank you....I'm also thinking of coil lock only, but they are strong enough??heard that coil locks can be easily cut by cutTers etc.

"Unlike what many people may think, tamper-proof locks do not exist. A bike lock is there to make stealing the bike more complicated, to delay the thief and therefore act as a deterrent. A good lock has an anti-picking lock mechanism and is made out of materials requiring the use of specific tools, therefore making theft more difficult."
Hence I have 2 of them, one which I have under the seat is a small one, which I use in the city or places where I know is safe to park with the helmet being locked with that cable and also another big one from Decathlon itself, which is a bit heavy and a lot thicker which I need to carry in my bag if I know that the place I am going is something I don't know how safe it is. The risks are always there with any locks you take...
Buy Cycling Accessories Locks Online In India | Btwin | Set Of 3 Locks
The lock in the above mentioned link (the Black one) is the one I keep it under the seat and which I use most of the time.
Buy Cycling Accessories Locks Online In India | Btwin | Sp 5 Combination Lock
The above mentioned one is the bigger and more thicker lock I use, only that mine is one with a key and not a number lock.
A word of advice, never go for a number lock, they are the most easiest to open..

Re: Helmets
Yes, the one in the link is a number lock, but mine is the normal key lock, since I couldn't find the exact one I have, I put this one up for reference only as to the thickness of it.Originally posted by motobiker View PostThank you bhai.. will visit decathlon tomorrow. Buy Cycling Accessories Locks Online In India | Btwin | Chain LockThat lock would be too heavy and too costly I believe just for the helmet, it will be too cumbersome to carry, just go for the ones I mentioned, don't know about fiber locks thoughOriginally posted by motobiker View PostFibre locks are available @declathon or not??
