whoever he is...many bikers here itself have injured their head/face when doing the same and not necessarily on a big ride or tour...we even have pictures posted here...

nothing against you...but please do not bring such links here which demotivate people from having basic safety measures...

plus that research was done in sydney,australia...

now compare the amount of bikes/vehicles per sq.km back here in India and there...we ourselves will get to know..how prone we are to accidents...

If you are riding only a ZMR, why a moto-cross lid?

its doing justice with my needs as i was in a need of a light helmet along with good comfort(which should look good as well )..i already have 3 other helmets so i bought this one recently cuz i really liked its shape n built & wanted to try it badly..

i also tried Vega Shadow but it was looking too big on me

Hi Omega

I guess this research is for bicycle helmets and not motorcycle helmets,
so i suggest you keep your helmet glued to your head as there is no escaping from that lid when you ride.

I really don't know how good such a helmet shall be post some 80kmph+ as it is designed for speeds below and definitely not for extended period at those speeds.

Cross or LS2 at that price make very good designed helmets.

i never found it uncomfortable over 100k's, rode my bike around 120km/hr couple of times while wearing this but it feels much lighter then my previous helmet..i was using studds ninja before this one & cuz of its shape it wasn't able to cut the wind properly which makes it feel even heavier on your head at high speed but this one is cutting the air quiet nicely cuz of its shape..

Hey bought a shining black vega eclipse for my girl yesterday.Couldn't find a better looking or fitting helmet in any price range as she wanted an open face helmet.Paid Rs 930 here in Chennai.
How much is it for in other places ?

vega eclipse without graphics costs almost same here in Delhi & with graphics it costs around 200bucks extra..

Are you kidding?? AFAIK the LS2 costs 2.8k+. He brought the cross helmet for 1700. If a LS2 is available for even 2k then i would be running to the ATM first & then towards the helmet shop.

naaah..no stickering liked the way it looks plain in matt black..goes well with my black nero and cramster trg2 gloves... and also my black p220... its almost 1 n half year old and i bought it for 4800 including a transparent visor,2 balaclavas and he also threw in 3 "phoreign" miner hat keychains ..lol

The helmet is looking lovely & 1600 is not a bad deal as it looks like even more costlier & decent. Rushing to the ATM (not now exactly. Will be running before monday). Where can i get such helmets in bangalore??

BTW i always thought the cross helmets were a premium ones & never had any offerings for lower prices.

Lucky me. I was going to buy vega boolean for 2k here. But due to some reasons i dint do so.

There are now 2 varieties of cross available now both bought from different places

seen these kinda ones starting at 1.8k in mumbai around a month back

Asked the dealer about it & he was not forthcoming with answers ,got suspicious & didn't pursue any further as I was not in need of it
