Safety for me is much much more important than showing-off.
I saw Cross and LS2. Are they good?
And clear visor is a prerequisite.
Please advise me on this issue.
I plan to buy next week-end.
    Thanks.
Both of them are pretty good, good padding ,comfort and more importantly safety.+ they look good too. You can also check out Index helmets.

Can anybody please suggest me a similar chin up type helmet which is light in weight? And where can i get it in Chennai? My budget is Rs. 3000 - 4000. Please advice.

    Thanks,

You can go in for Studds Ninja (lesser price) or Cross helmets which have that flip up option, price range is around 3500-4500, I don't exactly remember

Okay I have had a look at the Studd Ninja earlier and IMO they look cheap and flimsy. I want something that is sturdy and light and will provide good protection both inside and out. You have mentioned Cross helmets. Are they light in weight?

      Thanks,

        • Hi got myself a LS2 Supra on 1/08/11 in Mangalore, the dealer quoted 3500 but got it for 3400.Dealer also told me the prices have gone up from 2800 since july. I also saw ls2 speed and pistonhead being retailed for the same price .They had a ECE 22.05 sticker and ISI mark too but then Supra has got a slightly better fit with the airpump so couldn't understand why the pricing is the same?
Anyone knows their current prices in bangalore?
          Here are some pics

                      Hey,

I know that there is a difference b/n LS2 Diamond and LS2 Phobia. Inner air vents are little different. I was able to make that out.

I think ls2 esprit has a breath deflector which might prevent accumulation of fog, Was able to make that out when i googled for the same.

I don't know about the rates though. I brought LS2 Diamond for 2.6k it's good but has some fog issues.

I don't like those flip up helmets so, I never had a chance to pick them up, though I think they would be comfortable and slightly heavier than the normal ones.

Index helmets would be costlier than the LS2s and Cross, I think the best option would be to go for LS2 as it's cheaper, safety on par with cross, finish is good, comfortable, strong and easily available.
