Megha Enterprises (dealers for SOL) @ Bangalore didn't have it when i checked today. May be they can get one if you hang on to the choice and given them some time.Originally posted by NaveenRk View PostAlso like to know whether this Orange Color displayed in SOL international site can be sourced here?

Hi, Even I'm contemplating on SF01 now because the Orange SL68s may take time and the internal dark visor on SF01 looks like a good feature.Originally posted by goody_guy2002 View PostMegha Enterprises (dealers for SOL) @ Bangalore didn't have it when i checked today. Can you give the location of the Megha showroom in Bangalore. SOL India site doesn't have any Bangalore address.
Do they have all colors of SF01 and SL68 mentioned in Indian site?
Thanks.

I think you should wait till end of this month. New stock with some new designs are due to arrive by march end. Im already so impatient on buying it.Originally posted by NaveenRk View PostHi, Even I'm contemplating on SF01 now because the Orange SL68s may take time and the internal dark visor on SF01 looks like a good feature.

Do notify when you get to know about it.
OT: Official SOL site does have Megha Enterprise address, I missed it while browsing on mobile.

I had asked this before regarding helmets for kids, with zero response.Originally posted by goody_guy2002 View PostThe smaller lid with the Mario print is the one i bought for my son. I don't know if it is safe enough. It fits well enough. I paid 450 bucks for that. If anyone knows about good helmets for kids please shout it out. I wish i got a Mario too, he was one of my early heroes :-)
As a nation we are 2nd best at making large quantities of kids, I don't really understand why we are probably last place in protecting them on 2 wheelers.
I'm very eager to take my child out on the bike, but won't do until I have a helmet for her.Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Yes the visor is a useful addition. They don't have all colors, so better to have some alternatives in mind before setting out.Originally posted by NaveenRk View PostHi, Even I'm contemplating on SF01 now because the Orange SL68s may take time and the internal dark visor on SF01 looks like a good feature.

This is true. He said something similar. But i had to start driving my duke and couldn't do that without protecting my head.Originally posted by harsh_66328 View PostI think you should wait till end of this month. OT, but that's partly due to the Indian attitude of 'it will not happen to me'. And the policy makers themselves are more worried about restricting the population and not the other way round ?Originally posted by stefanm View PostAs a nation we are 2nd best at making large quantities of kids, I don't really understand why we are probably last place in protecting them on 2 wheelers.Prevention is better than cure. Am looking to buy a helmet for my wife... LS2 seems like a good option... There are only 2 criterias... Safety and weight... it SHOULD be super light... My budget is Rs. 5000 or less... Any suggestions...?
I was thinking of the VEGA Shadow or the LS2 rage... If anyone has used them please do give me your inputs...
edit: Am hearing a bit about the SOL helmets... Any reviews on those...?Last edited by j4zb4; 03-24-2012, 03:43 AM."stay hungry, stay foolish."

I got a SOL 48S (DOT approved; not sticker, but laminated) a month ago & I'm very happy with it; costed about 3.6K; worth every penny; I'm using it for a daily use & say I've clocked nearly 1000 Kms; my previous ones were Vega & Studds & SOL is atleast a century ahead of fit & finish. It also helps in reducing the noise to a considerable extend & head remains stable even at speeds over 140, may be due to snug fit, but still worth a mention on those points. In one word, pure VFM. There is no lifespan for a helmet... I have been using my Daijya for nearly 4 years now... You change the inner liners when they wear out... Incase of non removable liners you change the helmet... But incase you have had a fall, you throw the helmet into the dustbin immediately... I hope that the last situation never arises...Originally posted by Dreamwalker987 View Postwhat is an average life of helmet and after how many day do i need to change my helmet??? i am using Studds ninja 3g, 2 years old i guess and all the inner padding and all stuffs are like "kaise tho chal raha hai" with fevi quick ...i don't ride much these days...
