Too bad, Strangely enough i can't seem to find Scoyo dealers for jackets [rawadventure website is down & other link petrolheadz [http://www.shop.petroheadz.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=80&vmcchk=1 &Itemid=80] dsnt seem right in some way..maybe bcoz i want to feel the jackets touch before i buy them :P]

Given the chance, everyone would like to wear them in person, after all, everyone want their perfect fit. But unfortunately for most it's not possible, so we rely online for the info to make the right purchase. But I wouldn't commend you for making the choice for going for a fake A*. Definitely you could have gone for something better, or saving up more for a better one.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    • Fox riding gear, okay?

      Hello,
I have been thinking of purchasing the fox gear sold off in ebay, although quality can be an issue, my needs are some what basic.

I just need disposable use and throw gear, where after few rides in rough terrain (ie trail biking on rx 100) I want something which can provide the basic protection from low velocity falls. ( although I tend to tumble a lot down the slopes)

I am keen to purchase the dirt cheap ,gear because it can be thrown away when damaged ( much like the helmets)
and also I am kind of low on cash to purchase the high end gear, not mention the irritation of having to throw them after they are damaged.

So for general rough use and use and throw idea, will such fox gear be enough?

      any thoughts on such?

      Regards

All these stuffs sold in eBay, Fox, A* etc, are very low end stuffs, they good okay-ish protection for the quality they are. I'd suggest you to invest in Fox body armor and a decent pair of Cramster knee guards, though cheap they do their job okay. If you plan to protect your upper body too, go for FOX Body Armor and Cramster Knee guards.

Cramster aren't mean for off-roading, though they are bionic. FOX are designed to be off-road apparel, and it shows in their gear, knee guards etc. If you don't mind the bionic setup in Cramster then go for Cramster, else go for Fox, based on your comfort level.

        Cheers!

        • Need a Jacket for everyday use. Currently using DSG Phoenix. It becomes very uncomfortable if the temp is a bit high and its bulky too. Becomes difficult to carry it around.

Looking for a light weight with good ventilation and off course, with good protection! Any suggestions?

Krish, I have used the Pegasus for almost 7k kms. An excellent pair of gloves I would say, super comfortable and did not let both my palms get even a single scratch when I crashed.

What is your price? Most mesh jackets provide good ventilation provided, worn without liners. Why don't you try the Rjays Swift or Spartan Helios, really light weight stuff.

hey prateek2210, what would you say about a comparison between Scoyoco's JK17/JK27 & Spartan's Icarus, which one's better as i might consider getting Spartan's Icarus via online or through Banglore store ( my size is L & i have a medium built with 5'6"=5'8" )

PS - Can anyone in Pune confirm any Scoyoco dealers or give info about Paradsie cafe, Mulshi lake where there's rumored to be a bike gear shop as well according to Urvashi Pataole

Considering the scarce avlblty of Scoyco and the dealer whom I know isn't responding to whatsoever queries, even a while back. I'd suggest you invest your money in ICARUS or Achilles, the latter being my personal favorite.

                          Cheers!

You can call Bhavishya Devgun on 0-9910460777. If can help on Pune dealers then its your good luck.
I have been using JK17 for 2 years now, and honestly everything is perfect for me in that jacket but being textile jacket, I feel like roasted chicken in it in summers.
I am bent on Spartan / Cramster for my next purchase

And how about the Rjay's swift jackets that are available for 5k-5.5k under Bachoo motor's scheme compared to Spartan's Icarus's cool price tag of 4.3k
[Achilles/Helios/Hyperion seems awesome but then again budget issues]

RJays Swift jackets are good, but not great. At flesh level, both Sparan and RJays Swift are basically the same in my opinion. But where the Spartan takes the lead is, with the goodies it offers, the armor quality and the added liners etc, of course with added price, but doesn't pinch the pocket too much.
