And how is this item in comparison to Spartan ProGears Helios Jacket and its Glove ?
Have used both, TR2G and also blaster , i used to own TR2G for a few months, great gloves for touring , full gauntlet offers the best protection and also good ventilation, but not user friendly for a daily use , tough to handle to put on and off frequently.
Blaster is a great product the feel is comfortable and can be used as a daily glove.
Now the spartan pegasus, it is made to be a daily used city glove, its short cuffed and so not that suitable for touring per se, but been toruing in those gloves in all weather conditions and has served me good.
The armor is good and padding is also more than enough at the right places.

Now a comparison between the cramster blaster and spartan pegasus,
The pegasus is very much thicker leather than the blaster , so that means better protection and abrasion resistance, but to my surprise it is having the same comfort level, the thick pegasus doesn't feel any different or heavy when worn and is also broken in to the shape of your hand pretty fast (for me within the first ride itself).

This is my view with all 3 gloves. Now make a choice and a informed purchase.

    Cheers

I am planning to replace my riding gloves, and I have zeroed in on two models; Pegasus from Spartan and Combat from Rynox. Has anyone personally seen both of them or used them? Would like to know which one is more comfortable and durable? Would like to use them for both city and touring.

I have used the Pegasus extensively and the Kombat shortly. Pegasus, I found to be a tad more comfortable than the Kombat once u get used to it. It saved my skin completely during a crash. Komat is little longer and has reinforcements on typical impact areas on the palm. Ventilation is similar in both.

Mate i have seen the rynox gears, but not used it, somehow it doesn't give that good feeling while looking at it, it might just be a individual thing and is in no way valid as a review. But in case of pegasus i can say with full satisfaction , if you are looking for comfort and ventilation and good protection then the Pegasus is a very good choice, though it is basically a city gloves, i have used it for touring and has served me well, even in the munnar monsoons..!! So you can get an idea.
But it wouldn't be fair to push off rynox, do wait around and see if any one else has any reviews, and make the right decision.

I've almost suggested most of the times, while back here, Breezer and Eclipse were one of the most excellent jackets out there, when it came to moolah to value ration. Indeed few of my friends have the Breezer and they all happen to purchase them all at the same time and of course Helios too. Cramster Breezer and Eclipse leather jacket, especially the latter, I loved it so much so that I was almost sold on it, but then fate had other things in store for me, but that's just me.

Breezer, a really good VFM money, all weather jacket with liners. The Eclipse is a leather jacket all the way till the mitts, but one drawback they ain't perforated to allow airflow and I was almost cooked riding in Delhi, and I sweat like crazy even on the normal days so coupled with that, I wasn't so comfortable. But it too is an all weather jacket with different liners, separate reflective panels etc.

                      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Technically anything other than a complete leather gloves is not suitable enough to provide the required level of protection and comfort. You may see across the thread where veterans have vouched for the full-leather gloves. And you know the better the leather and Armour gets the more it makes you to pay. Still, in the moment of urgency, if you choose to compromise, allow me to put up a few options that I see.

The best bet closest to the upper end of your budget is Cramster MX3, here's the link: Riding Gloves, MX3 - Riding Gloves .

The DSG MotoMesh have come across a lot of criticism, so try to avoid it. Here's the link DSG MotoMesh Gloves: Black - 950.00Rs

Consider it at the lowest tip of your budget, you may also consider a VFM for its price and way better and rugged in quality than a DSG MotoMesh. It is a Scoyco MC-08. You may make a search on eBay to find one.

                                Warm Regards,
