as i was thinking to buy a riding pant for my next trip to Leh. but would like to use in and around Mumbai (hot climate) after the trip. i have Rjays Octane and i ride RE enfield.
which riding pant would be better for me. DSG, Rjays or Cramster.
Any Comments on Royal Enfield riding pant, I saw they have jeans with Armour.
One more question - What is more comfortable for long rides. Riding pant or normal jeans/cargos pant.
It ultimately comes to the fit of which pant will fit you the best, all three pants have gotten good reviews. RJays has introduced a new and refreshed Octane and All Season Pants and Jetstream series which are really good lookers. DSG Nero pants are a real good, apart from few zipper issues that I've heard about them and Cramster is a tried and tested Velocity 2.0 pants. But both NERO and Cramster offer additional warm quilted liner as opposed to just a single liner in Rjays, but even during the Ladakh ride, a single liner was more than enough to handle sh*t load of nasty stuff that the pant went through and kept me at the right temperature 95% of the time, including 3 hours of continuous rain ride.

But I'd suggest you to try the pants in person if you can.

      Cheers!

Pretty good for them to introduce boots at the right time, when demand is getting flooded by the day for boots. Pricing is yet to be revealed by Cramster.

But since it is stated as it's avlbl in Bangalore and if someone is planning to visit their store, perhaps pricing can distinguished.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Thanks man. Yes, have read about that fix of getting a foam/ applicator to absorb all the cream before applying, but it's a chance I'd rather not take.
I've got the order cancelled and the site has promised a full refund. I'll mostly go for the Woly this weekend if there's no other strong suggestion.

All I wanted to know is the experience with the brand and what brand is good to go for. Its very hard to take out time and visit every brand store. And one really can't decide in first 5-10 minutes of trial. Well I already have rjays and mentioned it as well so I will try that first..

Thanks again. Have a safe ride..

I want to buy a Riding Jacket for everyday riding to office and occasional highway rides. Budget is 4-6 k and have shortlisted the below based on feedback from friends and internet.

                      1. Rjays Swift
                      2. Cramster Breezer 4.0
                      3. Spartan Icarus
                      4. DSG Aero

Which one would be a good buy ? I am kind of inclined towards the Rjays however Cramster has the warm liner and DSG is much cheaper. Spartan has been recommended by others.

I have been using Rjays Swift for daily commuting (40+ kms) for over an year now. This is a well built jacket and has good airflow. I would prefer this over the Cramster and the DSG anyday. I am not sure about the Spartan as I have not used it.

I have been using dsg icarus air flow is excellent, though the foam on the back can be replaced, with the rain liner the jacket can be used for the moderate hill climbs in wet weather. I got mine for 4300, with the current dollar:rupee if you get under 5000 it is a steal.

Indeed. I guess if this is the case, still the RJays has the upper hand with two of their HIGHWAY and Sprint H20 boot, really good boots. But being PUMA it's obvious it has brand value plus if you see the MRP it hovers somewhere around $224~ so it's not surprising that the pricing game is still in their hands, but you can expect that only upon good reception. And I just hope it works for them, and kudos to Crammy for brining the right stuff at the very right time.

Cramster Breezer at that price point or the RJays and the Spartan closely followed. For that price point the Breezer is an excellent VFM jacket being kind of all season jacket with different liners for different season. My *suggestion* would be the Breezer, just for the add on it offers plus it being a mesh ventilation is excellent or else you can try the Cramster Eclipse excellent full sleeve leather jacket out there, though ventilation might be problem in city as per your requirement, it's excellent stuff at that price point.

                              Cheers!
