There is a store called adventure on the rocks in Hyderabad who sell their own brand called 'Zeus' .. I have personally tried them but wasn't able to judge well if compared to SPARTAN.

Sad part is, there are no stocks of Spartan in Hyderabad.

Could someone help me on this?

      Srikanth,

I guess there are few pieces of Spartan Icarus and Helios left with Dynamic Ryderz. Did you check with Varun?
You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........

Which jacket are you looking for? If you want, you can place a pre-order, that is if you are not in a hurry. Else I saw some Cramster jackets there too.

Thanks VJ. Honestly, i didn't have had any negative points to mention about, after wearing it! It's been so long since I had worn a spartan (of my friends)and now that I cannot compare these two and choose one!

I'm looking for a mesh type which has CE approved gaurd armour.
I came to know that Helios/Hyperion both come with Knox armour guards where in Zeus is built with level1 PU guards which are too CE certified.

Little keen on Hyperion because of its leather part on the shoulders! Very impressive looks wise.

Well. I don't have much time as I my road trip is scheduled for the coming Sunday.

One of my friends is coming chennai to Hyderabad, this Saturday. I'm just thinking if I can get the jacket transported with her. Is it suggestible to purchase like that with out a trial?

The Icarus too has CE approved armor, though not from Knox.

Ideally, one must take a trial before purchasing. However, if you are sure about your size or have worn one of your friend's jacket, then you can go ahead with the purchase. To be on the safer side, take help of the SPG guys over the phone and also discuss about their exchange policy in case of incorrect sizing.

Guys I'm total noob in riding gears..and short on money ,recently had an accident on my p200ns, and now my eyes have open ,
Please suggest good riding gloves in Delhi ( range 600-750 bucks max)
And what will be minimum price of a decent jacket...?
Also I believe window shopping is cheaper than online ( bargain) so suggest some wholesale markets ,or shops of riding gears in Delhi ..,thanks in advance.

See, a good riding glove would cost you minimum 1.5K. The ones which are in the market for 500-600rs, are simple textile gloves which won't help much in case of a fall.
                        Min. cost of Jacket ~5k
There is a dedicated thread on shop addresses. Look for it.

Btw, you should first get a 'proper' helmet asap..

                        Ride safe and have fun.

Refer above thread for local stores to purchase riding gear.

At a price point of 600-750 there isn't any glove that can help you incase of a crash similar to the one you had. I would suggest to get something as the Rynox Rampage at minimum, it costs a little over 1.5k and is a great pair at that price.
However if budget is too tight and you absolutely can't extend it further, you could go for scoyco gloves, they definitely are available at the price you have mentioned, I would like to again make it clear that if you go ahead with these it would be more or less like buying gloves for the heck of it, no offence to any users.

A basic riding jacket would cost a little under 5k, a quick search through the forum shall take you in the right direction.

P.S: I don't think you will find "proper" riding gear at wholesale markets, rather I would suggest you not to pick your gear from there (courtesy:abundance of fakes/refurbished/seconds)

Is spartan progear busy nowadays?? they haven't replied to my email queries.is there some bandh/hartal/product launch going in with the company?
also have to wait till December second week for y orange Helios jackets. I had sent an email last week to customer care reading two sites of improvement.the 1.zippers cannot be locked.
2.the elbow Velcro patch has a short length.the actual length is long but we can't adjust the fit much due to the short rough Velcro part.

also I feel the cramster breezer has better quality.again this is a personal thing maybe.I went for the Helios solely because of Knox armour and the orange colour helps too I guess. And someone here at xhbp who is/used to? work for spartan was a huge USP as well.Sunnyside up u still here man?hope my feedback was helpful.

So anyone from Delhi ,can tell me specific locations to check out riding gears ( markets name or distributors shop) as I don't trust online and need to checkout things myself ,
Thank you all for replying to my query
A studds helmet is on the way( not able to ride as I cannot twist my right hand to throttle)

Hey mate, totally agree with you on the improvement points you mentioned. Also, i had ordered gloves and knee guards from Spartan around 10 days back. Their reply to all my emails was quick and the stuff was delivered the very next evening after i made the payment. So if you are not getting any replies, the best thing is call them on the helpline number and speak to Sathish. I am sure he would help u out.

P.S - Anybody here planning to buy gloves, there is a discount on Phaeton Gloves if ordered online and costs Rs 1500 now. A total vfm product at this price.
