I have already clarified that SnapDeal and BikeGear.in are NOT authorised sellers. SPG resellers are also NOT authorised to deal with these platforms. I know for a fact that BikeGear.in actually goes out and purchases a helmet against every order, and he makes his money off VAT differences and shipping, which he charges but claims is free. I believe that SnapDeal is doing the same and SPG is trying to stem that leak. SPG will NOT honour any warranty claims for products bought outside its authorised distribution.

The screw mount of the air filter(the black coloured 'beak' air inlet which is mounted at the front of the helmet to let air in) of my metalman has broken somehow. It was not in use and stored securely during the rains. I was using another helmet. I was very surprised when I opened the packaging to see the part broken.
I sopke with Hemant of AH helmets and he told me it would have to be sourced from SPG directly. Now I am a bit unsure if such a small part would be shipped/made available at the dealer just for me?
Is there an alternate way of getting hold of that part. The dealer does not have one.
Using glue to stick it with the screw mounts permanently would be the last resort, but wou8ld really be glad if I don't have to

As much as the helmet must have tried, I don't think it could've broken anything by itself.

I think I know the part that you are referring to and if it is, then it is available in spares. Pls send a mail directly to the company for assistance. How do you expect them to help you if you post here but not inform them?

Check out Spartan Progear's website, since you are in Chennai visiting their showroom will be even better.
I think their showroom is on East Coast Rd. You can get all the gear you want except the boots from them.
For riding boots check out Planet DSG's website they may have what you are looking for. Revzilla is good as
they have more choices, buying from them may cost you a bit more. Happy hunting.

There are a lot of closeout deals going on right now. For jacket, I would suggest you look at the Scorpion Exowear Hat Trick jacket. Good 3-4 season jacket, looks wicked and very well priced at 140$

For gloves, pants and boots , you can look at the Spartan range. I have used the Ares full gauntlet, and loved it to bits for the comfort it provided. Their flagship store is in Chennai itself.

Spartan ProGear Helios Jacket is one I liked. It is also around the 6.5k(+/- 500Rs) budget I have. Any other suggestions.
I live in Mumbai suburbs, any good shop ?
How about Babloo motors(Vashi), A H Helmets (Andheri) ? would I get all the riding gears in a single shop ?
I am looking for all season jacket.
Additionally, would it also fit for women? My sister is getting her new Avenger220 tomorrow, would the Helios Jacket work for her too ???

Any suggestion for the gloves and helmet for her ???

Brother, check out Raunak Enterprises in Vashi. I bought my jacket from there. Some folks here have had varied experiences with AH Helmets so its worthwhile to make a trip to vashi.

It comes into stock - and goes out - as quickly - due to huge demand. :/

Shipments arrive almost every fortnight of most items but resellers and back orders finish off most incoming stock immediately. Suggest you pre-order if possible.

For ladies according to their size and body shape there is a jacket made by spartanprogear called Aphrodite.
Helios is men's jacket.
2nd option is cramster.

Desperately need some help:
My elbow and arm CE protectors of my riding Jacket have broken. I noticed it when I took them out for washing the jacket.
Came to know that some body was sitting over it for a prolonged time...

I use it everyday and so need new ones urgently. Are these sold loosely anywhere or do I need to go for another jacket just for the want of new protectors.
My jacket is Rjays Swift and I am in Bangalore.

You can contact Bachoo Motors directly. You can contact Let's Gear Up, but they deal with Sas-Tec armors, so I think they might need the sizes of the armors. I tried contacting them once for an armor, and they told me they will get back to me, but they never did. But you can always call and pester them. Also they armor the RJays uses is Powertector, so KNOX won't be a fit and so does Sas TEC or if they did, it might be tight fit/guess. But the best is to contact Bachoo the folks who resell them to dealers.

With a budget of 5.5-6k, apart from Rjays Swift and Spartan Icarus, what are the other jacket options that I have? Mesh preferred. I'd also like the one which comes with a good quality rain-liner.

VFM considering an all weather is Cramster, next up is (I wouldn't advice for a purchase) DSG Aero and DSG Rage with bloody funky colors.

The website said it is available only in pink, so did not go for it, my sis'd have killed me if I got her anything with pink

I got DSG Nero Jacket for her, hope that works and is tikau and protective
With that got Fox knee guards for now.

I'm still in search for a jacket for me, being gravitionally challenged leaves you with less choice and color
