MT's cheeks dont hug.. infact there is concaveness at the cheeks and only fit is at the jaw line.
So unless you have super chubby cheeks, I wouldn't say MT.
      Still do check it out.

Dunno, I have white one. I planned to get my own graphics done on it, but not finding time.
I wanted to say avoid black because of summer. Dark color = more heats sets in. And if you're touring.. well then.

What is the most vfm jacket in the range of 7k according to you guys? I have read this thread well and have shortlisted some of them, but i still would want your opinions. I stay in Mumbai, and it rains for four months here and other than that, it is hot all year long. so i guess rain liners are a mandate for me.
Also, the armor must be good in standard with best testing approvals.

        Please suggest.

The helmet will suit well owing to the contrast, however as for the jacket you could also try the orange helios (if the shade of orange matches)
Get helios as everyone suggested. After buying the jacket go to some shop to buy a proper rain coat and pant. You'll have to spend another 1000-1200 Rs for good and thick rain gears. Try the rain coat over your jacket before buying one. It is a mandatory requirement in Mumbai rains.

Hi Guys, this is Sandeep. I am a member of xBhp Bhubaneshwar. Presently I am owning a Royal Enfield Electra UCE. I am planning to purchase riding gear, I am thinking of Spartan Helios Jacket and Spartan Phaeton Gloves as this comes in my budget of 9000 for both. I want some suggestions and opinions regarding these stuff as I don't have any idea on these stuff. Are there any better options in my budget or should i go for these...????

Hi Sandeep. I have been using both the Helios Jacket and the Phaeton gloves since 8 months now. These being my first ever riding gear.

Coming to the Jacket first, Helios is a total vfm Jacket. Its mostly mesh and has better armour protection ie Knox. It has very good ventilation hence good for summers / hot climate. It comes with a rain liner and i guess you can opt for a winter liner as well. Bhubaneshwar i believe does not experience much cold hence this would serve you all year round. More on the Jacket is available on the SPG website and i need not elaborate more.
My verdict - Yess for Helios as quality of Spartan products is top notch. The reflective material on the jacket makes one look like some character from a space movie .

As for the Phaeton gloves, i am using the old ones as a new version of it was launched some time back. Its a short cuff glove with good ventilation ideal for city use and ocassional short distance touring. Not advised for winter as hands do tend to freeze. Quality wise the gloves are decent. I believe the new Phaeton gloves are a tad better than the ones i have.
If you are mostly into touring then i would advise you to get the Full Gauntlet gloves from Spartan or any other brand that you like.

Remember, its best if you can try and buy the products from the nearest Spartan dealer if possible. Size can definately become an issue if directly ordered online.

            Hope this helps.
            Cheers.. Ride Safe.

I liked the matt black colour. Looks really good. I'd definitely go for an orange colour helios. The one which I am planning to purcahse (SPG Helios) is fully black in colour except for both the arms from elbow to wrist. They are orange. I'd definitely prefer a jacket with more orange. :P

Nothing like that, i have been using the same helmet for past eight months, no issues with the paint.

Hello guys, i tried finding but could not locate a relevant post.
I stay in mumbai and I am looking for a helmet for my female friend.

She went to babloo motors and apparently the smallest size of the helmets also did not fit her. To the extents that she told me she could open the helmet without like opening he lock. [emoji28]

Where do you think we can get a helmet for her skull size in Mumbai? It had occured to me that size would be a problem as she seems to have a pretty small head.

                      Please advise

I called AH helmets, the minimum size they have is the same as babloo motors.

Unfortunately almost all dealers keep L size saying that its a universal size. Morover even most of the buyers unlike you guys here are not aware of the importance of correct size and shape. You wont get M and S size even on online sellers like flipkart, snapdeal, amazon and others.
