There is no point in buying the same bike again. If you are considering mileage factor these bikes have very less mileage. My RTR180 is giving me 35km/l.It's your call now.Better go for RTR180.Originally posted by Krish1417 View PostGuys, now i am in a huge dilemaa..My father is saying me to go for A160 (had apache fi earlier) because of its good mileage, now what should i do

Do you rip your bike..My friend says he gets 45-50 which i don't believe. Its impossible to get such mileage figures in 180!!I used to get 50-55 from my fi.Originally posted by Drifty View PostThere is no point in buying the same bike again. If you are considering mileage factor these bikes have very less mileage. My RTR180 is giving me 35km/l.It's your call now.Better go for RTR180.Apache RTR 180 2011 | Honda Activa 2010 | CBZ Xtreme 2010 (1 month) |Apache 160 FI 2009-2010

Guys,i have heard that zma gives less mileage,when it is in running-in period or new..Please put some light on this!!Apache RTR 180 2011 | Honda Activa 2010 | CBZ Xtreme 2010 (1 month) |Apache 160 FI 2009-2010

All new bikes give lesser mileage when new, it's b'cos engine parts takes some time to 'bed' well. some bed early some takes little more time...by 2/3 service your bike will be giving you max. mileage. FYI, Zma mileage can vary from as low as 25 way upto 45 kmpl, it all depends on driver/driving style etc etc. on an avg. city ride you can expect about 35kmpl.Originally posted by Krish1417 View PostGuys,i have heard that zma gives less mileage, when it is in running-in period or new..Please put some light on this!!
BTW, did you 'test-ride' both bikes??

I rode both the bikes.Apache is all about adrenaline rush and spirited riding and ZMA-R is about relaxed riding.I loved the A180 throttle response.I found that both A180 and ZMA have similar acceleration, probably (thats what i felt).Mileage of both the bikes will be same,i was told that the mileage would be anything between 40-45 by the showroomsOriginally posted by vipin_s View PostAll new bikes give lesser mileage when new, it's b'cos engine parts takes some time to 'bed' well. some bed early some takes little more time...by 2/3 service your bike will be giving you max. mileage. .The A180 brakes were awesome,it just stopped where i wanted it to,whereas the ZMA's brakes lacked bite
.It would have been great if HH would have replaced the drum with rear disc. But nevertheless both are great bikes in their own aspects.

I own a ZMA and I love the bike.
But for you, I would suggest the RTR 180. Reason: easy availability of spare parts, very cheap maintenance.
Mileage: RTR will definitely give u more than the ZMA
I have heard the Hero Honda have again increased the prices of spare parts for the ZMA.
I have been searching for a chain set for ZMA for 3 months now. still no stock anywhere.Never Argue with an Idiot !!!
