    I'm trying to understand from a ZMA-R owners if I make a choice to buy one for touring, will ZMA-R would be a right choice given the scenario of Hero - Honda split? From what I heard/known is that this bike is a true tourer and compared to A180, the riding position would be far comfy. Need some light .

      I don't own ZMA-R, but I can tell you one thing, you can't say anything 'concrete' about future, H-H expiry is due 2014, as far as fear of availability of spares, Honda will not let down, spares is also a profitable business, and one can expect some one to cater to customer's spares needs, in the worst case, both H & H will face public wrath, I don't think that will go to that level.

      If u still feel uncomfortable you can easily lay hands on GSR or even Unicorn, they can be good tourers as well.

        I think the ZMA-R/ZMR rulez as a motorbike, though not an owner and have been guilty of critising that bike in the past over time spent here on XBHP and expeirencing more and more of motorcycling and what it is about am now convinced tha Karizma is what I d want to be on is on a longish expidition on two wheels! (If considering an Indian bike )

        See the Hero - Honda split is the future and we can only speculate right!? and my take on it is that Hero being a corporation that they are will certainly have agreements and clauses in place to safeguard the technology transfer and stuff. Of course new products and developments we just have to wait and see. I d really want a ZMR if I can get me hands on one...Make mine in Black or White please!

          ZMA spare parts are not available easily..A friend of mine had to wait 12 days to get the front fairing..I dont know what would be the situation when Hero-honda splits..Let the seniors comment on this!!

            If I were your friend, 12 days waiting for spares is OK. I had to wait for some months for RX spares. I would console that way

              My friend bought a Royal Enfield Thunderbird just a few days back..Got an chance to ride it today..Just two words for it "SIMPLY AWESOME"..I loved its exhaust note and the comfortable riding position.I can ride it all day long!!

                  Finally..Finally and Finally decided to go for ZMA-R..I will be getting my steed after the end of this month.Please let me about the run-in period and what speeds i should maintain.
                  I want to install Xenon as soon as i get it.Will it void the warranty?

                      I have seen all the colors of new ZMA in flesh except the new force silver..The new red looks awesome!

                            Guys i am now in a huge dilemma.My mom and sis don't like the ZMA-R..They are saying me to go for A180 as they say it suits me better than the karizma.I don't know what to do now.We are all confused.So,my dad has decided that he will check out both the bikes soonand decide!

                              A180 is also a good bike but ZMA-R is a better in whole package then A180..
