  • was a busy weekend...had my hands on 3 monsters of pulsar , one beast of tvs and one lord of yamaha. ..
had td'ed 135,150 and 180 one after another( thanks to my friend's friend who was in the showroom )
135 was just like a passion pro with a bit more power , just the way i felt last time.
150 felt aggressive for me .the mileage figure made me happy.
180 was super cool.i was bit scared as it was my first time on a >150cc bike.that power was bit uneasy for me to control , but i hope i will get used to it.

today i had my hands on the old rtr 180 abs (i think its engine is just as same as the nw one )and the fzs.
i didnt really love the tvs company. but i think the rtr is good ,for the speed minded like you said , it accelerates faster.brakes were good [ ABS was off ]
it was my fav electric blue fzs that i got in hands .thanks to my other friend who arranged it.it was realy comfortable.good handling.

loved all these bikes really.which one is really value for money ? considering power and mileage it is delivered . .,reliability and service . . . .and ofcourse , resale value...

          RTR180 ABS : 40-45kmpl+ even people quote 50kmpl. but 40-45kmpl is decent!!

          P150: 50-60kmpl

FZ: 40-45kmpl, i and my friends claim even 50-52kmpl.

from these three i would suggest one time investment as RTR ABS only!!

The best safety feature you can get <1L !! Think on it.

:-( OTR price of abs is 90+ k . And I am not planning to spend that much on my first bike.160 or 180 non-abs fits my budget well.is 160 good as p150. . ?whats the mileage of 160. . ?

It's not about first bike or spending, he's talking completely with respect to the BEST your money can buy; an additional INITIAL cost...for your own safety with that ongoing maintenance is going to be just the same.

              Think about it

Please go through the ownership thread for any bike which you wish to know mileage, top speed or maintenance..etc!! Owners can aim more acurate shot on your questions!!

                But don't be confused...

As per me if it's non ABS and mileage is concerned with affordable SVC then Hero or Bajaj only!! Mostly Hero from my side!! RTR gives average mileage compared to CBZ or Hunk!!

Neither. Choose P180. Its priced identically to the FZ, and for a few k's over P150 you get tubeless tyres, split seats, a fatter rear tyre and much better performance (BHP and Torque figures) than any bike in its price segment (FZ, RTR160, Hunk, etc).

                        • Obvious answer!! FZ... How can you ever get confused between these two?! however if you need good mileage then its pulsar. Rest all areas, FZ tops..

Between those two if mileage is not an issue FZ any day. Its extremely easy to ride thanks to that torque and the amazing grip and braking power you'll rarely make mistakes.
