49kg and height 5'6. I think you need to eat well, join a gym and gain some weight.

p135, 150: Good looking, nice value for money but reliability there is a big question mark. Unless you can maintain it well and you have a good service, hmm you know what I am saying. It's much cheaper than your 80k budget but I say hit the 80k and get the better one.

FZ-S: This is what I own and I have my own reasons for buying this bike. And you know what Yamaha is. It's reliable and this bike is very fun to ride. Nimble handling and only thing it will disappoint is mileage. Get a 40-45 km/l in city conditions. If you don't have problem with mileage then keep your eyes closed and get it.

Hunk: Another Hero product. Don't know what's their standard after completely splitting with Honda. Two bikes with same configuration that is CBZ Extreme, Hunk. If you are mileage hungry then go for it but you will miss out that Honda tag.

SZR: Please don't go for this bike. Surely you will miss FZ. Buy FZ or any other bike and not SZR

You should choose the lighter bikes from the shortlist i.e. P135LS & FZ. Take test drive of these bikes and go with the one you like. I would suggest P135LS, it's sharp handling, awesome performance clubbed with good mileage tilts scales towards it. FZ runs out of breath at top end, where P135LS will still be left with some juice.

If you are Cool minded & more towards Relaxation wanna zip zap through traffic with ease & you are in no hurry then

Yamaha FZ-16 &
Yamaha SZ-x Should be your first priority

If Mileage is your concern & you will only be using for daily commuting that too not very far Then Bajaj Discover or (you can go for Twister too)

For Aggressive riding ,restless mind ziping through traffic light weight & good pick up, Very light weight.... good for beginer an with Sheer power & best in class Brakes :-)

Apache RTR series

For all Comfort Riding plus a power full engine with no vibration & reliable engine too .. a Ride Comfort suits best to..
Suzuki GS-R & Yamaha FZ

For short aggresion, leight weight & Reliable engine
Pulsar 135 LS...

And more importantly its my opinion to trust you have to do test drive seriously....

iam from trichur ,usage will be mostly in city traffic,of course the traffic is heavy out here.then a 120km journey twice/thrice in a month as iam studying at coimbatore.

i know iam toooo underweight .started going to gym and eating like hell nowadays.

Pulsar : reliability is the issue that iam also worried about.if the engine will go well for atleast 2 years ,iam happy .

because within that time i will put on some weight and try to get a good bike like r15 in 2014.

fzs: i do have a love towards this bike because of its street looks.and the yamaha badge.but mileage and weight is what iam worried about.40kmpl is ok for me.but i told you that iam a not-so-good driver.will that drop the mileage ?

hunk : my friend do own one , and thats what iam riding mostly nowadays.loved its comfort and mileage.but the design seems pretty classic to me.

If you think for mileage too then P150 or Suzuki GS150.

FZ has best comfort in city, refined engine, Yamaha's reliability! good handling and braking too. Performance of FZ is best in it's class. The only issue is with the mileage part, it gives around 40-45kmpl only!!
But nice highway bike too, it has a top speed arounf 110-115kmph. Which is enough i guess!!

p135 was the bike that i was all about to buy, but when i said p135 to my friends and cousins they all said no! and all said 'better you take p150'
i do loved its size and specifications.but the reliability and bikini headlamp is wat makes me confused .

We ride a motorcycle, as we do on horse!! and we drive a car or truck or jeep, becuase we seat inside and drive it!!

szx is not in my fav list
and i didnt liked the gs 150 that much .
and i didnt concerned tvs yet .now iam putting rtr 160 to my list.

i didnt liked gs150 .so i dont wanna discuss about it.
i do love fzs , but my gear shifting and acceleratn is pretty reckles will that drop the mileage ?
p150 is now with the questn mark of reliability to me.

If your riding style is worst!! then it will effect any bike.
There is no initial or perfect riding! It's you who want to be at what range! If you are not a speed or racing honk then you will get good mileage with any one!! But if you do opp then petrol and money are inversely propostional!
Why don't you start with a second splendour or something !! to get yourself comfortable with bike and riding style, once you are ready then go for 150cc New!! there are many options.

P.S: Rejecting GS150r is one of the regreting point in future if you are concern with mileage/comfort and touring capabilities!!
