How about CBR250R or shall wait for couple of months for the new launches to happen, personally i found the riding posture of CBR250 quite decent, any opinion about Pulsar 400 SS ?? .......that's a beautiful looking machine !!

I don't think CBR 250R is an upgrade to P 220. Its a bump of 5 horses and 4 Nm ONLY. but what style of riding you are saying about I found them both with very different characters.
Many of karizma and 220 owners are using it for so many years now. Probably because they didn't find a worthy upgrade even in ninja 250. With. 43 hp duke is a temptation to say the truth.
But these bunch of risers we are talking about deserves more.
I will recommend a middle weight bike after all these years. Otherwise many will be forced to keep another entry level bike for another 5 years. Not good.
So for me the guys should pick from below list based on probable availability :
Ninja 650
Er 6n
Triumph street triple
Hyosung gt650
Hyosung gt 650 n
CBR 650 F
Hero Hastur
790 duke
Z800
Some of them are future probable models. Some of them will surely come soon.
Beat the temptation of juicy starter bikes save more. Get a bike that you can keep happily for long.

Buddy....my personal advice to you is to stay away from any hero motor corp. Bike. They are just making cosmetic changes to the motorcycles with outdated engines....that brings us to p220. Well....there is pulsar 200 ns, which is a much better bike in every aspect. But still if you want to choose between zmr and p220, my vote goes to p220.

Depends on what kind of rider you are, If you ride mostly in city a pulsar 220/200ns will be the best bet, if you are a tourer, get a P220 or ZMR, both are equally good. Though the new ZMR is more vibey when compared to older ZMR but still it's a nice bike to tour on, though on city you cant use 5th gear below 70kmoh(impossible
) whereas on a Pulsar 220, you can use 5th right from 28kmph which makes it easy to ride machine in traffic. Low end of karizma is better than Pulsar 220, but 220 has a better mid and High end.

I am sorry bit the new ZMR that i had a test ride of was smooth throughout. But what i did feel at 4K rpm was the bike had grunt which the old karizma and zmr didnt have. Have you ever ridden one before? As reneav said, you can easily do 30 in top gear. And how many new zmrs have you ridden to claim that they have vibes? My friend, the vibes are infact arrested in the newer models than compared to the older ones. And before you try claiming stuffs, please be sure they are facts and not a result of your hatred towards any company.
