  • yeah a ZMR can return 45+kmpl mileage figures on highways while you cruise near around 80kmph constantly(you may even get better figures than that as well)..in city its mileage hover around 40kmpl & even that's not a bad figure..Keep your bike healthy & maintain it properly & its one of the best tourer among Indian bikes.

    • Its totally depends on the way of riding, i have stretch my zmr on highway to full throttle, i got 21 kmpl of mileage, while riding at the speed between 50-60 will return better mileage between 40-45 kmpl. the bad mileage i got is 21 at the speed above 120 kmph and best i got is 49 kmpl at the speed of 60kmph on highway. so its totally depends on the way you ride it. The same is applicable to every bike.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

Yes!! Kool! mostly i would prefer the speed of real 200cc engine i.e over 110kmph on highway and in city mostly 40-60kmpl.

But yes average changes alot in different ride in different area!!40+kmpl is anytime a good number for a 200cc+

pulsar 220 for better road grip, better cornering experience, better speed and slightly better mileage.
zmr offers better straightline stability and more refined engine.

                      • U can opt for Ktm duke or P200ns both are superb bikes....
ZMR has a butter smooth engine and slick gearbox...but has bit low pickup and lil bit low top end as compared to 220

220 has a good mix of fuel efficiency and power ....but slightly less refined engine...

Agree to most but not the highlighted part. Fuel efficiency of 220 is much less when compared to zmr. But yes. Has lots of power..

I think u have made an error here....220 is much more fuel efficient than ZMR, indeed all bajaj bikes have good fuel efficiency compared to others....

Just to clarify the ZMR doesn't give less than 45Kmpl on long rides even riding at 100-120kmph for days together on whatever terrain. The best we recieved was 55Kmpl. I personally haven't seen any P220 giving more mileage than that. I would agree with your point with the Older karizma and not the ZMR.
