I think I have finally zeroed down on booking the zma-r (i was really confused between the zma & P220). Majorly after going through all your posts and some other threads, I felt the zma is more reliable (its just what i feel; its just a personal thought and can be incorrect, so plz dont pounce on me)
Money wise; yes, it does matter but more than that the fear of taking your bike to the SC guys every month grips me too much. since my requirement is more on reliability, less niggles and stability almost majority vouches for the zma..a bit better FE than the 220 would be an added advantage.
I would prefer having the bike in 1st week of October (6th being Dasera), the dealer assures that I can get the new grey color deliverd (they seem so happy when I am wanting to go for a waiting period of almost 2 months ) still negotiating with him for tubeless tyres.
Do update if there is anything else that comes up to your mind.

Karizma is pretty heavy 160kg so it can be difficult to handle in the city.

sorry that was a typo at one place & i was also talking about P220 only..
now talking about riding posture of ZMA n ZMR then there isn't any difference & we don't need to lean on tank while riding a ZMR..its posture is as straight as we ride a ZMA,(it might be just a psychological thing cuz of fairing for some guys ) i never found ANY difference while riding both bikes,n its not only me but anyone can ask generally about comfort level of ZMR n P220 without being partial about any bike..

P220 has around 19NM Torque @ 7000rpm & ZMR produce 18.35NM torque that means difference is even lesser then 1NM but ZMR produce this figure @ 6000rpm..so i don't think so P220 has any such considerable advantage here..
safety features in ZMR is also better then P220 like braking is better & presence of sensor will ensure that your bike will get switched off right after a fall etc..also reliability of Pulsar has improved but still it lacks behind on likes of HH, Honda & Yamaha..
PS - by posting this i didn't mean that P220 is slower then ZMR but i just wanna say that ZMR is slower but not by much, as you also said that P220 will be miles ahead, which certainly isn't that true..

Go for what your heart says..ZMA is a great choice,its 223cc honda engine is very reliable,this is a very good Tourer bike,compared to P220 only only power is less but the reliable bullet-proof engine is a boon.P220 is the fastest Indian for a year or so then the engine & gears becomes rough & performance dramatically reduces.So just close your eyes & go for ZMA...you can also checkout ZMR..
