for Fi version the warranty is 2yr or 30,000 km which ever is earlier.that's for the whole vehicle including electricals ,headlight and other things covered under warranty.5yr and unlimited km warranty is only for the engine not the whole vehicle which means after 2yrs you can not claim warranty for any other thing except the engine parts. i hope this makes it clear and i believe its the same for the dtsi as well.

thanks for the explanation. still, i don't think i saw that 5-year-engine-warranty thing anywhere in the manual. and the overall warranty is same although, 2 years of 30,000 kms whichever is earlier.. will check again!

              ZMR looks pretty good.

But the things that made me an owner of p220 are:

1.ZMR cant keep up with a p220 on highways...
              (Disappointment is a pain)
2.100 section(BSA SLR like) tire on the rear is pathetic.,especially the zmr got bulky fairing and all.

              3.ZMR is pricy.

4.Performance is more important than looks.
5.GSX R 600/750 head lamps and busa's sticker jobe will not make a 223cc 17.6 ps machine so robust.

The build quality is great I must say.But HH copy paste engineers need to read XBHP threads and learn what we need from them.

Or else in the year 2015 they will come up with a new karizma with 18.1 PS and even bulky fairing...

+100 to that, also the ZMR weighs 159kgs,also with the absence of liquid cooling a full fairing is a disaster in the long run.The zmr in my opinion is a hybrid of the KARIZMA-R & CBZ xtreme! Also a lot of "HERO HONDA LOVERS" will say that the ZMR is much better but what about the 4 BHP that you miss, performance wise you cant compare the karizma with the pulsar 220
when the strech is empty, my bike tells me to wring its throttle and give my commands!

Buying a 220 will give you the following things
                    The fastest indian title
                    21 bhp
                    projecter lamps
                    a saving of about 24000
                    wider tyres
A bike which any local mech can repair as it is carburatted

                    thnk again

                    ABOVE ALL

Its good to post some competition to bajaj, so that we will get a 23 bhp machine then.
The apache 220 will be a speed king probably... It will win hearts if tvs manages to keep vibs under control.

                                I have never ridden ZMR.

                                Will say about 220.

1.Stability: Its rock solid on windy highways. Conering is not bad either.
It feels easy for me... I am just 63 Kg.
2.This machine feels built good.I have seen many pulsars maintained good around me.

                                3.Comfort: one word: amazing..
                                4.No probs as u expect.

I did not ment that zmr is a bad machine.
In spite of my respect to it i must say... HH need to do something to keep themselves in performance league...
may be begging to honda for a new engine if HH cant make one
