M31 is the 250cc and its a civilian model.B31 is a military model.

This is "B31 BSA", that s all...by saying >>Plunger Military Model,
        It would be Misleading
Mostly or rather commonly only War derived machines are termed Military models, were as this B31 350cc single BSA plunger, may would have served Military , but they wont come in that category !!
        If you ask HOW ????
No other option, " Have to start a separate thread in this Forum" to discuss about British Thump ers
& BTW, though I have no reservations or strict space restrictions..
...It would be great on your part to start a separate thread featuring your machines, instead of merging in my thread!1 ( Even I made a blunder when I came to this forum , by posting my collections & ideas in this " WHO ARE YOU?? " section, which naturally gets pushed down, when new members come in.....where we miss to catch with our fellow members)
        Keep collecting !! Keep restoring!!
        Cheers

Well let me correct you sir, they came in military category,They served in military. And about the missleading BSA B31 is also came in swingarm(which you know very well)model,so i dont think that i am misleading anyone.
And secondly i think that here is something about MY THREAD,anyone can post well anyways i am sorry that i disturbed Your thread.

Wow, an automatic scooter imported in 1983? really wonderful. now wave your Magic wand on this cutie BTW the Honda Lead & Arrow may be seniors to the Tact, as they were introduce in Japan in early 1983, i faintly remember seeing an advertisement in LIFE magazine.

Oh!! Ho!! think our "thejatt" has loosed his cool
Hello brother, though generally we ( that includes Big Brit Bike Gurus), say B31 Plunger model & B31 Swinging arm Model !!
Where as it must be B31 for 350cc plunger suspension bike
& it must be BB31 for 350cc swing arm versions

If still in doubt, please try to get a Book by Ray Backon..." BSA Singles".
But I do agree , many web sites, ads, easily skip a "B" from BB31, while talking about BB31.
**Regarding this serving Military & Military Bike:
please go through the same book!! ( This book is accepted as authority for BSA singles restoration & production line details world wide)
PS: I don't want to carry out this debate about Military bikes, war derived models etc.,, coz this will go never ending
*** Need not feel sorry Buddy, I loose nothing in this regard, it was my suggestion , that there is chance of confusion or getting our posts pushed down at this " who are you? " section
                ....

                      About HONDA tact:
This 80cc , two stroke "twist & Go" scooter, seems to be a awesome machine for city riding.
This Scooter of early '80 s, was forerunner for all our Modern machines like scootys, sunnys, spirits etc., to cover its inner with complete " Polypropylene "based leg shields, plat forms, steering, mudguards & stuff !!
The two side panels are " Pressed steel", which is a utility Box ( 2 utility boxes in a single scoot) & they are detachable ones, can be removed if found too heavy !!
This is a electric start machine, has 12V battery beneath the seat
with complete stanley lights , including indicators !!
Now the Engine portion was fixed...runs smooth, can be tough contender to Scooty Pep , if the Scoot is built with proper parts...lets hope the best
                      Now few pics:

Now with its Big brother ( younger by age) Honda lead or our K.Honda

                      with Arch rival YAMAHA

                      Better this way...
