Bad deal!Originally posted by kartikpai View PostOpz my bad ! But still our driver in scorpio was scared to go via tahmini at 8:00 in the night saying its risky ! And yea it was totally deserted past velne MIDC area. Not even a single soul till we reached the base of Mulshi. My best bet would be to cross any of the ghats and reach NH4 before it gets too dark .
Again, bad deal!Originally posted by antz.bin View PostI came by Kolad-Tamhini-Mulshi-Paud-Pune route that night, not Rockerzzzz. And yes it was extremely lonely. But it was also past midnight.
Rockerzzzzz theft incident happened on Pali - Khopoli road. I don't consider any one of them particularly safe at night (not even Bhor). Your best bet should be via Poladpur - Mahabaleshwar - Pasarni - Shirwal - Pune.
Thanks a lot for the warning. I will definitely urge the Mumbaikers to accompany me north of Khed and then ride on to Mumbai having dropped me off at Pune and I am sure that they would agree to do so. I don't want to waste ammunition in wasting some highway stick-up punks and thereby, get into trouble with the "law".Originally posted by kartikpai View PostManish ji only one thing to note here, if you are riding alone back towards pune , assuming that the mumbai guyz would go straight to panvel from mangaon. Tahmini ghat at night is not that safe as there have been many incidents of thefts in and around that . We have our own XBHPian rockerz experience it. So kindly reconsider it
This route was quite deserted at 8:00 pm , when I used it while returning from goa a few weeks back. Hardly any soul till you cross mulshi. 80kms of completly deserted road I can asertain.

Novice question
Hello guys,
I have a novice's question for all of you old hands at this method of communication.
What is the meaning of multiple posts? I have answered to some member's posts individually using the quote button and to some others collectively using the multi-quote button. Which method is the correct one to be used on this forum?
Sorry for the trouble and thanks.

What you just did was 4 posts in a row. That bit is wrong since it floods the thread with only your posts. If the discussion had been something not related to your queries, it tends to get lost in consecutive posts. If instead you had replied all of the posts in 1 single posts instead of breaking it up in 4, that was the right way to do it.Originally posted by icemang View PostHello guys,

So, instead of making back to back posts using quote, multiquote is the right way to do it

Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Require Road conditions from Pune to Nashik
I was thinking of the mumbai route too since I think it would be 4 lane highway route... but the additional 70 odd kms are strenuous...
So sticking to Pune - Nashik.sigpic

^^ well, one month back I did 'Pune - Thane - Nashik - Pune' in one day. Pune - Nashik(NH50) is in good condition except for some rough patches after Rajgurunagar, but they are very much manageable & after Alephata traffic gets thinner, also good roads, so overall road conditions are good.
Via mumbai route is just awesome(very less traffic on NH3 & smooth roads all way).
