Ride to Koyna Dam---20th October'2012

Meeting time - 6am
Departure time - 6.10am

Please add up your name.
Documents
a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.
Safety Gear
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Thick Jacket/Riding Jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
f. There is nothing that can better the protection of a full leather suit (if affordable). The preferred and most recommended piece of protection that your money can buy. Not compulsory though.
NOTE: Any member found flouting the rules will be warned once before being banned permanently

Small but important update, general public is not allowed on the koyna dam
, so obviously we wont be allowed. Destination in the Koyna area would be scenic Kumbharli ghat after which we would be heading towards Poladpur in order to reach the base of the Mahabaleshwar ghat. Expect some minor bad patches here and there, but don't have to worry much

Amazing snaps out there Imran and Viper... Missed this ride big time.
@all - One suggestion, this wednesday its Dussera, Most of us would be busy and occupied on the festive day. My suggestion is to postpone the G2G to Friday evening? If all in favor I would put up the g2g details by Wednesday first half or else this week g2g will be postponed to next week (Wednesday)
