and If I am not wrong, Mr. Mad Man (beroist) is also doing something similar (chk mumbai thread)
PS: I have to sync my time with some friends who are driving from Mumbai to MahaB. They should be leaving by 5.30 from Mumbai!

The distance between dharwad-dandeli is unknown to me.
I see you only travelling on day 3 wheras it desrves atleast a days stay ,but the route itself is scenic atleast uptill dandeli which is a jungle safari+ river rafting destination.
The roads are as good as you expect along state highways with no major surprises.
perhaps people from south would be in better position with regards to latest updates
I would suggest you to do north karnataka at a later date and continue with bewda's plan.sigpic

Sunday ride
Guys, it has been quite a long time since we all went on a ride. Since Lavasa has been rehashed infinite times so I am suggesting a new destination this time. Jejuri.
Route is - Pune - Solapur road - Phursungi - Dive Ghat - Saswad - Jejuri - Return Journey - Saswad - Bopdev Ghat - Kondhwa - Pune.
Round trip is 110 km.
If we wish, we can also turn back from Saswad.
