      • Hearty Congrats!!

I think I am gonna try a saddlesore on a platina (Gives hell lotta fuel efficiency) after I by it though..

Just came back from Lavasa..It was goddamn cold and we two were shivering.. I could hear a faint noise of her teeth chattering and clattering even after wearing the helmet...Dint try any sorts of cornering skill with her a pillon llest if she freaked out and got disbalanced...we two would had been hanging from some out protruded tree root in some cliff at Lavasa...Was riding at an average speed of 70kmph....

        • @rohan: IDk if u have noticed these things, but these are the defects I found out.

          1. At reaching 9.5k RPM, if u touch the 10k mark on the meter at 5th gear, the bike will give a sudden boost of acceleration/power. It will be so sudden that you will loose your grip if you are uninformed of this effect on Apache 160. I would say only of 160 as I myself ride a 160.

          2. At reaching 128kmph the speedo would show lesser speed (127-126-125 and go on) this effect will get corrected automatically on restarting of the bike.

          3. The RPM meter would stop functioning as you reach the 128 mark. Will fix itself when you restart the bike.

          4. The speedo and the RPM meter problem is only for 160s. The 180 series don't have these problems.

Thanks bro... But.. as of now... the standard SS1600 does not excite me . Introduce a variation.. and I might try it . As of now.. I have done 1158km in 22hours .

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

thanks man ! ideally it should be about 75kmph but as ketan had suggested keep it between 95-105kmph...

everything planned doesnt actually happen...so at times we had speeds averaging to about 64kmph and at a patch in karnataka 104kmph !
