What happy re bumm. I am all pissed in a way. I needed that lid. Could not find in Hyd, not with any dealers. Got in touch with Director of steelbird and tracked that lid toa plant in Himachal Pradesh , then made him courier after sending him a dd. All that and now the lid is gone

I picked the wrong day to doa speed run as I been bored. Crazy rains since night and I still decided to do the run. Started off early and left for Nagpur (no real purpose, just wanted to go and have chai and smoke maybe). Within hours it became obvious that rain is not gonna stop and hence i decided to start having fun than to wait for the rain gods to stop. Lost the lid while I was coming back. Pulled over at a Dhaba close to Adilabad for some refreshments and left the lid on the table. I was away for ferw minutes to clean myself up (thnx to the rain). By the time i got back lid was gone My strongest belief is that when i jus reached dhaba there were 3 cars from Hyderabad/Secunderabad region. (AP10 and AP 13 registration plates) mostly youngsters and one of then happenned to talk to me as well. They were jus leaving and I kinda sense they must have rode away with my lid. Errrrrr

Call me stupid or just plain brave. As you all know its been raining non stop across most of south since last 24 hours and I decided to do a solo speed run. Things turned out not so great as I had to face rain most of the journey and worst my helmet was stolen

hyd - nagpur - hyd. left yesterday morning and got back early morning today. 1097 kms, heavy downpours most of it and return journey in rain with no lid

I would say - Stupidly Brave - lol, sorry for the loss but I guess it had its own fun. U were on your R15 with no lights either and there was some night riding too?

I was having the following options:
1. Nagarjun Sagar - For the pure Nature and the beautiful waterfalls
2. Srisailam - For the riding pleasure on Ghats
3. Kuntala - For the high speed run

Any option is Ok coz in the coming next 3 weekends I am going to cover all these places
And any more options to the list is most welcome !


EDIT: Seeing Ravi Varma's pics I'm more inclined towards Srisailam
Nallamalai Forests: As close as it can get to nature
High speed runs for some stretches 8)
And GHATS
