800km? well done! which direction of the nh7, towards bangalore? did you take a u turn at ananthapur or something?
i went to hingoli a small town in maharashtra to attend a friends wedding....

the route i took was hyderabad-nizamabad-nanded-hingoli and return.....
the road till kamareddy around 60kms from nizamabad is a 4 lane divided highway with a speed limit of 100 till kamareddy.... after that for around 40kms the widening work is going on due to which the roads are in horrible condition. had dinner in a dhaba after crossing the bad patch and from there on it was a normal state highway with bumps, ditches, cows, buffaloes, stupid riders, kids with their toys etc. for the next 260km.....

i started from hyderabad at around 5:30 and reached bowenpally by 7.... so majority of the ride was done during night.... we(me and a couple of friends in a quallis) reached hingoli at 4 in the morning.....

this experience has taught me one thing if you want to go on state highways night i.e. at least after 10 is the best time to go.... at that time only trucks ply on those roads.... and truck drivers are much more sensible then the car drivers expecially taxi drivers....

          while going i took : hyd-kurnool-nandyala-kadapa-rajampet-tirupathi .

road conditions are super smooth race track till kurnool. From here to kadapa is good SH , except for some bad patches and some ghat work gng on after kurnool. 4 lane work in gng on btw kurnool-nandyala but roads are good . From kadapa to rajampet and to tirupathi is smooth 2 lane high way . Watchout for big speed bumps before and after every village. Overall you can maintain 80-90 kmph on this route [but with caution ]

          back journey:

tirumala- horsley hills: Good 2 lane roads 80-90 easily manageable .

          H H- anantapur : Good 2 lane high way .

          Atp-hyd: Race track

i would rate atp-madanapalle-tirupathi over kurnool -kadapa-tirupathi . This has less truck tarffic compared to other route and roads are in better condition. Try iatp-madanpalle only if you have plans for HH otherwise it will add up 80 kms extra . If you wana avoid kurnool-nandyala-kadapa. then take kurnool -gooty-tadipatri route . Seems this is also a better option going by the reviews on internet.
on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced

how about hyd-chilkaluripet-tirupathi or hyd-guntur-tirpathi...coz after chilkaluripet/guntur its complete four lane road...if its via guntur we can go via n.sagar and cover it too...

Btw when are you/we gng to tirpati?? :P :P

What is the current price of R15 front and rear tyres. Where can I get them in Hyderabad apart from SVC. Pearl Yamaha Kondapur quotes Rs 2600 for rear tyre and Rs 2300 for front tyre.
While buying do I need to take care of certain stuffs(manufacturing date etc). Any help is welcome.

Got the front tyre for 1700rs in jan from ramkote and her was quoting 1900 for the rear. Try with different MRF dealers. If you dont find it, drop a mail to mrf. they are a bit late in their reply, but def helpful! IMO 2300-2600 is super expensive!

I checked all the MRF dealers(MRF Tyres - MRF Where to Buy) in Hyderabad one by one. I am surprised every dealer has a different rate. The front wheel retails from 1500 to 2300 and rear wheel retails from 1900 to 3000. I am amused by the fancy prices.
