    Dont stop :P
It was a red light and we had to stop in order not to break the signal. The funny thing was they asked us to cross the red light (offense in a way) and come to the other side where they were standing (post the red light). But as manual signals overrule the automatic ones we did as they said. The motorist standing by were amazed to see us cross the red light on cop's call.

Hahaha ... what an idea sirjee !!

BTW hormuz's bike's front brake had issues so we had to leave early and search for a mechanic. We were riding slowly in bracket of 50 to 70kmph throughout keeping hormuz in between us. Hence the look was that of formation. Regarding sunil, he was not with our group !

        • ^^ LOL. This sucks, if the rule really exists. Clearly, it doesn't matter if the cars/trucks cannot see our vehicles. What matters more is whether they can see how well dressed we are and then choose to give way!

Next time, I am carry my Ninja sword to slice off anyone who doesn't give away after a simple pass light.

But yes its an offense dont know which section n all that.... but yes when today i m a much more mature rider i should have checked the laminated paper more closely then

                • Thanks to rony who stuck with me almost all the way because of my front brake problem. I was extremely surprised to see 14 guys climb up the slope of hell at midnight. Cheers to all these people. Had loads of fun through out the night. Ninad where are all the photos and videos you caught on your camera. Has many funny moments!
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

That's appalling !! ... Its a common practice to keep the bike's headlight ON during our rides ... hence we should clarify this matter with the traffic police and avoid unnecessary fine/arguments !

What a conincidence!!!! Just yesterday one of our fellow Xbhpian was fined during our ride for keeping the lights ON in daytime. So the rule stands true.

                          • Courts DO NOT make law. They punish violators.
DRL has had its share of controversies in other countries, and if ARAI passes the vehicle like that (Read many international cars and bikes) after what they call 'Homogolation' then it is assumed that the vehicle is 'road legal' for India.

The only two clauses that I could find regarding these are
                            1. Incorrect use of headlight\taillight. This is typically using aftermarket stuff and something that could potentially distract the fellow drivers
                            2. Use of High beam when not required

There is NO clause of a formation, unless ofcourse you are participating in a rally or something.

Happened to speak to an police officer.....and got to know....

If the riders ride in formation people mistake it for some rally.....and hence they discourage formation riding.
Regarding lights......there is no clause that states that you cannot ride with lights on....in kerela it is mandatory to ride with lights on.....read this few months back.....
