Thank you DK. Yes sure we will try to do it. We planning the below route and places. Any suggestions/comments?

Day 1: Mumbai - Chiplun (try to cover some waterfalls here....my friend know few) - Sangmeshwar / Ganpatipule (as per the tentative friend).
Day 2: Marleshwar - Malgund and Jaigad fort.
Day 3: Pawas (probably) - Ratnagiri - back to Mumbai.

What do you say DK?? Any changes needs to be done in this??

      this is hotch potch man

malgund is near ganpatipule so done next morning-- marleshwar is an offshoot before sangameshwar from that side another 90 odd kms from ganpatipule

      ratnagiri doesnt make sense

      my take :

      1)mumbai-ganpatipule
2)ganpatipule-malgund-marleshwar (4-5 hours required to enjoy it minimum.beware of the excess water though)-jaigad or velneshwar
3)back to mumbai from guhaghar --get a jetty cross to asud towards dapoli side & return via mandangad

      this will be awesome

Yeah.....I guess your plan & route is far more better than ours .
Mandangad route is a very scary not many vehicles ply on that route. But its very scenic....when I was in college we used to go there during monsoons. Lots of waterfalls on the way and very few people which makes these waterfalls the best.

I will talk to my friends and suggest them this plan. I dont think anyone will disagree . Thanks yaar DK.

Yeah. Have 3 days leave and very few monsoon days left. So this should be a good ride. BTW Jawhar is also an amazing place for monsoons. But make sure you start early so that you have ample time on your hands after the sightseeing for the return journey.
