kashimira to fountain hotel (part of my daily travel), you will get traffic (but manageable) as bridge construction is going on. road condition is not so good around kashimira. but then on towards virar its ok. few potholes here & there.

NH8 road condition

Need latest info regarding NH8 road condition till Vapi/Daman, especially Kashimira Junction to Virar stretch.

I travel Daily to office from Virar to thane.

Road After Fountain Hotel is perfect till Vasai (except on Bridge which slows the traffic). then from vasai to Nalasopara thr are bad patches in Between. thr aftr it all good atleast till virar. ahead of virar also is good bcoz had been to Surat a month ago.

Departure Time : 6.00 am (departure time kept early to avoid heavy traffic)

Mandatory Safety Gear:
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
c. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
d. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.

well i have done this trip ... till vasai/virar ... you may get some traffic and potholes ... but after that its smooth ... you can actually reach vapi/daman in 2 hr and 30 mins.... but just be careful about the cows and group of goats ... coz usually they come in your way when your cruising above 100 kmph !!! ... n ...


NH8 is 3 lane road ... one sided ... during the ghats also the roads are very good ... so enjoy the road ...
