the only thing I am concerned is the weather and I am sure it is going to be really hot. I know people are going to lash out on me but just a suggestion - why not a trip in a cage(car) and we can enjoy mudhumalai /ooty to a greater extent if we did it in a car(safer in a car in the jungle). I have second thoughts about riding in the summer heat.

I'm OK if you find some one to drive you around, But I'm Riding no matter even if no one else is riding along!

Nagarhole is too dried up now, May be we can try Wayanad / Bandipur / Mudhumalai

Kemmangundi is not a very cool place to visit. Or is it? I forgot how the weather used to be there. The pics from my previous visit there are still lying untouched as usual...
I am okay if its Ooty - Masinagudi - Wayanad. But, I am still tentative.

I am on leave from 1st to 5th May. Planning to do solo but haven't decided about the whole route and destination . Any one have same idea, please let me know.

One sincere advice, Please do a short ride on May 1 to see if your bike still withholds the strain.. Wont be nice for you to break your bike in the middle of nowhere and tow it back to Chennai.

Why not take your better half (Or your parents) out in a car for 5 days? Also, Could cover even distant locations! Just my 2c

You are right about strain on the bike and I am planning to do that on Saturday . yeah, if I take my better Half or my parents in my car, I will post the travelllog in Team-bhp . Need to check with few stuffs before crystallizing the plan, will call you to discuss
