Weekend Breakfast Ride - 27-Jun-10, Sunday

Hi Guys!!
We are planning for a breakfast ride this Sunday. The idea is to get back to Bangalore by max noon, so that we can keep the rest of the day for family/freinds/ourselves.
Details as below:

Destination: Adyar Anand Bhavan, Krishnagiri (followed by CCD if time & tummy permits )
Date: 27-Jun-2010, Sunday
Meeting Point: Wipro Madivala (next to Madivala police station and near Total Mall)
Meeting Time: 05.00 AM
Riding & Safety Briefing: 05.00 AM to 05.15 AM
Departure Time: 05.15 AM sharp

We can go thru the city, via Banashankri and then hit the NICE road. Don't have to go thru EC to get to NICE road

Tibby, hope you dont mind me editing the meeting point. Silk board junction is very confusing (before the flyover or after) so its gonna be at Wipro Madivala (as usual).

Where are the others who wanted a day ride?

P.S. Long time since i've seen Scorcher (ram). Will call him and check if he can join too.

Yeah, anyone will be after a dog comes crashing onto your bike when doing triple digit speed.

Got your bike fixed? did you have to replace the radiator?

mine & vinayak's still not able to confirm, will come to know only by 9pm as i have some work at home once i finish then will able to decide anything

Ram is spending the weekend with his friends so he's not sure if he can make it. He said he'll try.


And oh boy this ride is gonna look like a campaign for the R15 or what!

Actually the best thing was that i did not loose my balance.

Bike is as good as it ever was.

and about todays night ride by what time are u guys planing to come back??

I have an office outing tomorrow. If u'll are planing to come back by 3 then i might just join in...

dude..the only thing with driving within the city is that we're gonna take a hell lot of time just to reach NICE..I suggested NICE through BTM and then on to banerghatta because it seems a less busy option..

tentative:

1. we start by 10 30pm dot
2. if we take banerghatta route, to reach NICE: 20-25m
3. from there to expreessway mysore road junction: 30m
4. to mandya: about 1 and 1/2 hours

same schedule while coming back..so to and fro should be around 5:30-6 hrs approx

I suggested NICE through BTM and then on to banerghatta because it seems a less busy option..

+1 on that.
banerghatta road is deserted at night, and that is the way i have always taken
