Hello susheel, if you have knee guards, it is better. But it is not mandatory to have one, however it is indeed mandatory to have a armored jacket and a good pair of riding gloves. Question for you: when you say jacket, do you have a normal jacket or an armored one?

Not an armoured one.
Its just helps me from rain & cold weather conditions.
In that case, i think I cant be a part. right.

Susheel, you can get elbow and knee guards for now and join us. However I strongly suggest you to get a good armoured jacket before joining for rides

My current situation being a married person and with a kid & the daily expenses sky rocketing like anything, you reach at a point in your life where you need to make decision of whats your priority, even though it might not be the dream route you wanna take.

Anyway if Im joining it will be with the above pre-requisites else I wont.

Investing in protective gears is a wise investment considering you have a kid. U get that right?

Even I don't have much of gears myself. Will get em soon and will join these rides soon.

I do have jacket, helmet & gloves.. Will that doo???

You are asking about G2G bakar sessions or rides???
And Only one question, isnt your knee bones as important as your upper waist body!!!!

Bro I dont know what these G2G's are all about and what they do, because so far I haven't attended one...And so I thought the best way to know is by attending one...Thats it.
Anyway right now I saw your signature which gives lots of information on the same.
BTW all my 206 bones are important for me...

In an approx budget of 10-12 k you can have jacket, knee guard and gloves.
You can check universal riding gear thread, which might give you some idea on what to buy.

Thanks Jeevan. Thats a kind gesture of you...its easy to say, do that, do this, check there and stuffs and all..everyone including me in this world is busy & in-spite of all that coming up with a helping hand is definitely great..once again thanks buddy..

Well as of now my budget is 2k. I feel I can get knee & elbow guard within this budget..But then I'm in dilemma because if I get an armoured jacket I believe I don't need to spent extra for elbow guard. So right now I'm trying to save some money.

Anyway as I said I will attend the G2G only once I get all these stuffs ready...I read saquib's signature & I did get some understanding on G2G...Also as mentioned in the Do's & Dont's its true that if one riders safety is compromised it effects the whole group...Definitely I don't wanna play spoil sport here...

do check sathodi and d adjoining reservoir set in d jungles of yellapur dis waterfall is funn and where u can actually hav a bath lil far though but an amazing place for a break a lil off roading as well 2 days is more dan enuff

Greetings guys. Need a little help in deciding a route to Karwar from Pune. I would be riding with my better half and a saddlebag.
I have 2 options from how to proceed from Belgaum.
Via Khanapur-Kumbarwada-Anshi or Via Hubli-Yellapur-Ankola route.
If anyone has traveled these roads in the recent past could you kindly post the road conditions/suggestions for these 2 routes. The Hubli-Yellapur road adds around 100 kms as compared to the Khanapur road. So I am considering taking the Khanapur-Kumbarwada-Anshi route, unless these roads are in a very bad shape.
