hi, I've booked r15 a few months back. But the new Pulsar200ns is forcing me to review my decision. What do you think? Should I cancel the booking and go for pulsar? Is n't it wise to buy the 23 bhp pulsar for Rs18k less(guess) than the price of r15? help

It would be wiser to first determine what you want out of your bike. Pulsar 200NS to R15V2 is not apple to apple comparison. Both are altogether different genres. Define your biking needs and you will get qualitative feedback here which would ultimately help you decide.

more money less Bhp= no no less money more Bhp= yes yes. then you should definitely buy the pulsar200ns. and you should ask that question to yourself because it ultimately your bike and your money . i personally feel that, if people come and ask you, "should i buy the so n so bike{or in this case r15}", then my answer would be "NO". because that person really does not know about bikes {in other words just a normal rider}. ![]() dont worry when the P200Ns was unveiled even i was amazed with the design , but after sometime i realized those 3 spark plugs wont change my mind :P lol. and yes i am getting my R15 V2 soon

Should I cancel the booking and go for pulsar? My Personal opinion -- > No , stay with the R15 V 2.0 Is n't it wise to buy the 23 bhp pulsar for Rs18k less(guess) than the price of r15? help [/QUOTE]I don't think so ... My personal opinion R15 is the best bike in 150 cc segment till now ...... IF you want more power and torque means go for the Bajaj Pulsar 200 Ns .. But R15 with 16.8 bhp and 15 Nm will full fills all your needs [ i.e. Handling , Performance , Engine , Mileage & The Sexy Looks ]Note- Pulsar 200NS also looks Cool and Bajaj Have equipped the bike with " 3 " Spark plugs and Liquid Cooled Engine .. I don't exactly know about the Fuel system , Whether it is Carburater or Fuel Injection ....... But still my vote goes for R15 V 2.0 My Personal opinion in BOLD Last edited by ArriveAlone; 02-07-2012 at 06:27 PM. |

Also i believe r15 can do 140 with ease...Then why go for something that is new and not tested... I really dont think the 200NS will catch up...Comon every one knows pulsar technology here.. Go with the Yammie and you wont regret it..

I'm a family man who travels to places. Being a family man makes me think twice before putting money into something
. So the decision has to be be made with head + heart. That's where the value for money factor comes in. I should not regret that I have made a wrong decision. Quote:
1. Daily commute to office on week days(5 kms) - City roads 2. In the weekends. I go to my native (170kms up and down) - silky smooth highway + country road 3. long rides once in a month or 2. (200+ kms up and down) - twisties and highways. 4. looks doesn't matter Quote:
