@ArriveAlone: One word of advice-V1 to V2 is an upgrade in terms of looks alone. The performance difference is hardly noticeable&I don't think you will even realize you are riding a different bike when seated on it-you can't see the rear!
If you wanna show off with the split seat etc., get it-I consider it a waste of money. If you upgrade to a bigger bike, yes, I encourage you.

I mentioned the CBR assuming you want a better bike in terms of performance. Since you're more inclined towards mileage, then CBR will give you 28-33 kpl in city and 35-39 on highways.

It would be best if you stop worrying about RPMs and just feel and listen to your bike while driving. A lot of people keep looking at the tacho and forget their eyes should be on the road (me - 1 year ago).

About the oil change. There are no genius approaches for a proper run-in since you don't track race. I'd suggest you keep things simple for yourself. I have used Yamalube SS from the start with no complaints.

There are 2 factors at play for oil change. Your daily run and the grade of current oil. Assuming she's doing 25 km daily on mineral, change oil every 1000 km. If she's on SS, then every 2500 km. Change oil filter on every alternate oil change. If your daily run is more, then adjust with a good guess. I changed oil @ 300, 900, 2300,4000,6000. My daily run was 56 kms on SS.

There's a cap on the right side of your engine to pur in engine oil. Unscrew it out. The oil dripping from it, put in on some tissue paper. If you see black dark oil, its definitely time to change it. If the color is still slightly greenish and has only some black particles in there, you can wait.

Hello guys

I got my Blue Baby R today in the evening. Even though the showroom guys told me that the delivery would happen only after 60 days, I got it today reason I paid the cash in full. I booked on the 5th of this month.

Once I received the bike I went and performed pooja at Sampath Vinayagar temple. I took her for a ride and man she was awesome. So many people were asking what is the price etc.

I was telling myself to control the speed and not to rev her beyond 4k rpm. Once the run in is completed I will go a bit higher up the rev range.

Anyways I will keep you guys posted and sure will upload the pics.

Hello . I'm happy to hear that from you . i.e. below 6k rpm and avoid sudden accelerations, you will easily get 35-40KMPL ..

But as you pointed at the last >> But end of the day, if you are looking for a mileage bike and mileage bike alone, don't buy the CBR, its far more than that!! << It Kinda hurts me !! I just expected Minimum 30 km/liter mileage , And i dint expect more than 35 km/liter mileage from that Monster !! Anyways Leave it !!

I can't even guess , that's why ] My Baby R15 Version 1.0 Foot Plate Number is TN - 09 BJ - 3366

Sorry If I sounded harsh and hurt you. You will not be dissappointed with the upgrade. But keep in mind that you will loose out a bit on the handling part (of all the bikes I've ridden, There is no other bike like the R15 when it comes to handling).
One suggestion, if you are getting the CBR250, wait for the Repsol version, gonna be out/released soon
Check with a nearby ASC regarding the same.

No Problem dude . So you mean i will loose out a bit on handling part !! My doubt is as soon i start driving the bike , i will loose out a bit on the handling part ? ? Or , if we Do 100 km/hr speed or more , on that time i will loose out a bit on the handling part ?

The handling will mainly affected in corners due to the bigger size and larger wheelbase of CBR. It will remain same in a straight line.

If i go for this monster Whether i go for Non ABS version or with C-ABS version ?.

Go for the ABS version.

3. CBR 250 R Build quality is Good ?

Yes the quality is good. Although the finish is not perfect but still its good.

4. No vibes throughout the main parts of the bike ? I mean handlebar , Fairings , Mirrors etc .

No vibes.

5. Suspension is good for Commuting in city traffic/Broken roads Compared to R15 ?

Something I want to ask to experts and previous owners..

• When I change gears they are a little stiff in nature and then when I accelerate I feel vibes for fraction of seconds (I feel the pistons moving inside engine). After that it vanishes again until I change gear again. What is going on?
• Every time I switch on ignition a humming type vibration and sound comes somewhere near fuel tank? Is it radiator fan? and why it happens?
  
• How to check oil and coolant levels? I read somewhere to change oil after 1st day driving.. Should I change it?
• How to reset trip meter to zero?
