                • Though I booked my bike in September I am still in the waiting Q, I go to the dealer almost every weekend and try all possibilities to take the delivery of Red bike asap. The Dealer says Red is not in stock looks like I wont be getting the delivery sooner than November end or December (though Blue & Black are available). I am willing to pay full cash but that's not helpful either to get my color.

Having said that I am thinking to cancel my booking and re-book in December/January so that I can take delivery in January with a tag of "2012 Registration".. I feel its of No use if I take the delivery in November End or December as a month would pass to complete the Run-in period (I don't want to hurry to complete run in) therefore its of no use taking delivery of the bike this year as the movement you step January, your bike is One year old ... I am little skeptical with delivery now, what say?????

A good rider is one who looks at both side of the road, even on One way!

                  • Hi Guys,

I also booked my bike on 28th Sept but still waiting for the delivery. I have booked a blue one. Still haven't got any confirmation from the dealer about the delivery date and this is frustrating me even more. I even thought of cancelling the booking and going for cbr 250r as it is easily available.

I have few questions to the R15 v2.0 owners:
                    1) I will be using my bike for almost 60 to 70 km everyday out of which 40km would be on highway. So will the bike be comfortable for this long ride? I will be riding solo.
                    2) I have read in this tread that in the initial period till 1000km one should not ride the bike constantly in one gear. But as I will be riding mostly on highway there wont be any need to change the gears much and would be riding constantly on the 6th gear at a speed of 50 to 60km/hr. Will this harm the engine?

                    Thanks in advance.

                    • Guys, how is the feedback from the new set of tyres? Do they perform as good as V1 tyres? I am having doubts as the front one resembles FZ tyre pattern.

Btw, congrats for all R15 v2 owners, the bike looks freaking awesome !

and you should change your gear from 4-5-6 as you said you will mostly drive on highways
