Hi anhil8tr, looks like you got your bike with haryana registration.I stay in ghaziabad, can you please give a list of documents needed for registration there.i am thinking to show a friend staying in faridabad as my landlord.Originally posted by anhil8tr View PostHave the Mumbai showrooms lost their mind, i booked my bike and it was ready for delivery in 2 days.
Since i hadn't anticipated it i wasn't able to pick it for another two days.
Picked up my bike today and rode it to work and i have to admit that my car has spoilt me a bit but the ride was so much more exciting.
I am looking to follow the motoman's breakin method and the regular one, any inputs guys?
Safety doesn't happen by accident.....ride safe ride longer

Those are LED Pilot lamps.. His headlights look stock ,but with a whitish tinge. According to me the Yamaha LEDs are crap. 1000 bucks for somethin that wont last more than a few months (have had friends experiencing this). On my R15 I got these LEDs for 25 bucks a pair, these have lasted more than 9 months now. Check it out in your city..Originally posted by hellboy007 View PostIn that 3rd pic your headlights look like they are LEDs and not the regular ones..if they are indeed LEDs what is the cost of installation??do Yamaha dealers install it for you if you need one??A good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

That is true, am consistently getting around 48 kmplOriginally posted by amitmalve View PostToday, while watching TV, I saw a review of this R15 V2 on zigwheels show. According to them the overall mileage figures are
47 kmpl!
I never expected these fig. to be above 40, with those thicker rubbers!(ya i know it depends on riding style). But still......how much kmpl you guys are getting?

thats really great are you still in run in period???
if any if you finished the run in peroid..has the top speed increased??? the previous stock bike could touch 140 + on speedo without any problems whatsoever...i have touched 115(but that r15 was really badly maintained) and what about acceleration??Last edited by pranav_salieri; 11-10-2011, 07:18 PM.

I had a short ride on R15 2.0 today. Went for servicing my fz-s, so asked for a test ride from the showroom. I have ridden the previous r15 and I found that the new r15 has been turned into a full blown 150cc sports bike. The riding position is sportier, the seat height is slightly higher and overall seating position has become more agressive. Might not be to everyone's taste, but honestly, I just loved it. I found the bike to be compact enough, the handling is is simply unmatched. The turning radius is small enough. Very stable ride. Like i had said i am trying to break in my engine the motoman's way, so in the process i wringed the throttle for a couple of minutes before coming back to the regular break in rpms.
While i was doing all this i couldn't really contain my excitement and took her to a speedo indicated 132, it clearly had decent amounts of go still left, and also seemed fairly stable at that speed.
Gotta say that the handling is god awesome, did a couple of knee downs on round abouts.respect ma authoritae!!

thats good...how long it did it take to reach 132?? did you revv the bike real hard or gradually increase the speed..r15 just loves that....she wants her to be ridden real hard..Originally posted by anhil8tr View PostLike i had said i am trying to break in my engine the motoman's way, so in the process i wringed the throttle for a couple of minutes before coming back to the regular break in rpms.
